Book a break to a proper nice hotel all by myself post lockdown, full board ideally witb a spa. Either UK or abroad. Bliss.
I accept donations grin

happytobemrsg Tue 17-Nov-20 20:21:29

I’d buy a ring from VCA 🥰

Bouledeneige Tue 17-Nov-20 20:21:31

Yes I think some kind of holiday or break as well.

Tootsietoot Tue 17-Nov-20 20:23:14

Go on holiday with some friends.

Finfintytint Tue 17-Nov-20 20:23:58

A few years ago I had a couple of grand to spend when I didn’t really need anything ( it was compensation from a work related assault).
I treated DH and me to a couple of entry level Tag Heuer watches. Couldn’t wear it at work but several years later I enjoy wearing it daily now having retired.

WindsorBlues Tue 17-Nov-20 20:29:12

I'd book an air bnb by the sea for the weekend for me, DH, my siblings and parents to enjoy.

When this is all over? I'd go out. I'd basically recreate the roaring twenties and go out for a week. Frocked, fully made-up, I would eat, drink, dance and gig. All in feathers and sequins.

ClaireP20 Tue 17-Nov-20 20:31:38

Tear drop filler. It was the single best thing I've ever had done and knocked 5 years off me without any pain. Then i'd have botox in my elevenses.

CupcakesK Tue 17-Nov-20 20:34:40

I’d put it towards getting braces for my teeth grin

MatildaonaWaltzer Tue 17-Nov-20 20:43:24

@ClaireP20 where did you go? Am just starting a new job and think I need an overhaul! Also - how long ago didn’t you do it / how long did it last?

Boringnamechanging Tue 17-Nov-20 20:44:26

New laptop and new handbag leather preferably navy.

Quincy69 Tue 17-Nov-20 20:44:37

That's a good day dream!
I'd rent a car and drive around Europe (post covid). Stop in whatever city I feel like without much planning. Not worth the risk if every penny counts otherwise. My idea of freedom.
Need to write to Santa grin

TheNortherner Tue 17-Nov-20 20:52:02

EasterIssland Tue 17-Nov-20 21:05:31

Save it ... for a nice holiday when this is over. I’m expecting to get around 1-1.2k this month cuz of overtime work I’ve done in the last month and that’s my plan. Iceland 2021 here we come !

WhySoSensitive Tue 17-Nov-20 21:08:41

A new sofa. I’ve wanted one for years, everyone keeps saying ‘oh I bet you’re glad you didn’t get one with toddler DS’ and now ‘you won’t need a bee sofa till the baby is here and grown’
Fuck off. I want my sofa wether my kids are 6 months or 6 years. grin

gungholierthanthou Tue 17-Nov-20 21:08:44

Am assuming this is fantasy land so the world is open? I'd bugger off to a Greek hotel overlooking a beach bar on my own with a kindle, hopefully it would be luxury enough to have a butler to bring me regular cocktails.

I'm feeling so overcrowded at the moment, I never get a minute to myself as two dc have moved back in due to lockdown and my DH is being a massive PITA.

Alarae Tue 17-Nov-20 21:09:52

Technically I've already spent about £600 on myself during lockdown on a pair of Sony noise cancelling headphones and a beautiful aquamarine and diamond ring (my DDs birth stone).

The remaining £400 would probably go on a weekend break for us all next year.

relievedlady Tue 17-Nov-20 21:10:54

Botox and tear drop fillers then a long weekend break in a spa hotel with my own hot tub and dh to share it with.
