Indoor planters that are just nice & don’t look like time team dug them up & painted them pastel colours?

Is there such a thing or does everyone else like planters that look like they’ve had a rough life?.

I’ve just been in Sainsburys and the choice was novelty cat ceramic (I am a cat person but not in planters) or rough hewn clay possibly recovering from a drug addiction. I loitered so long the store detective followed me again.

The habitat ones were ok but the wrong colour.

What do you mean by planters ? Like trough things as opposed to plant pots?
TK maxx is good.

Plant pots with no holes that you put your house plants in to look naice.

Or not.

Ok so yes ikea and H&M home are always a winner, and my local TK Maxx always has some gems ! (Along with some shite obvs) have you tried your local Sainsbury's or whatever ?

If you have a bigger budget, la reroute, Arket, etc.

What colour are you after? I just got a plain ceramic one from B&Q at the weekend. Lots to choose from there.

Think that link is showing outdoor pots too, but the ceramic one I got definitely doesn't have a drainage hole.

Patch plants have some nice ones, I also like Elm and Ivyline (in garden centres).

I had some nice concrete ones from Next. Gold metal ones from Crocus and smaller ones from Masions Du Mode.

I’m always on the hunt for nice pots. They are remarkably difficult to find. Most recently I’ve bought from Nkuku (although you might find them a bit rustic, bearing in mind your Time Team comment! Grin) and Etsy. Our local florist sometimes has some nice ones in too, although at this time of year they are all purged in favour of Christmas decorations.

Also always looking for plant pots, but the prices! OMG 😳 Anyway, hortology.co.uk/collections/indoor-plant-pots/ is my go to dream site.

Gold is the colour du jour isn’t it? 🤨. I am considering replacing all the kitchen handles with gold ones & then it would match.

Naice materials are ceramics/clay in neutral colours, not opposed to a gold dip effect but opposed to patterns. Prefer flat topped to rounded edges because that’s modern.

With dh shielding again and the lockdown shopping opportunities are online for this sort of thing.

I did see some nice white pots online but they were Conran circa 1960’s. It took me three days to find a planter for the Snake plant.

Agree, Hortology have the best selection. Prices not always horrific either (although I usually feel the need to order a couple to justify the P&P ...).
