We've got one that's an advent calendar with pockets at the bottom for all the decorations. The dcs put up one decoration a day.

Now that they're older they mostly forget and it's me that does it (when I remember, e.g. a couple of times a week), but when they were little they loved it.

Hi OP

I made a felt tree from a kit for my DS when he was a toddler. He's at uni now and still likes me to put it up in his roomSmile

It took me about six weeks, but that was only an hour or two in the evenings. I haven't got my decorations out of storage yet, I found a picture of the same tree/kit on Pinterest.

I read your thread title and thought you were feeling your Christmas tree. I'm quite disappointed, it sounded so promising Shock

I got one years ago when the Hobbycraft ones were all the rage and it still goes up now. It's more basic than some of the current options, less decorations but its festive and when my kids were little they loved decorating it.

Dh used to enjoy frisbee'ing the baubles at the tree from a distance to see if they would stick Xmas Grin
