How the hell do I get in contact with Virgin?

Elderly parents haven't been able to get channels for weeks now. They have left several messages & have received fault codes texted to their phone. But nothing's happened. They have no online account.
I've told them to cancel the bank DD. As I see no other alternative.

It shouldn't be. I've asked for it to be moved. Phone app is dodgy!

0345-454-1111.is this the number you have tried?

I would contact on twitter or Facebook and see if that helps

@teta this happens to me on the mobile app too.

My advice is to look up the virgin media CEO email address and send a complaint there. Also can call them out on Twitter. Good luck

We're moving it over now, OP. Smile

You’re best off doing it online if you’re able to do it for them? I sorted FILs out last week in that manner, through the live chat.

Have they not been able to phone them? Can they set up an online account even if it means you lending them a device and helping them do it?

I phoned them a few weeks ago because I'd got to the end of the introductory offer period and didn't want to pay full price for the service.

I phoned up, went through the 'press 1 for this and 2 for that' menu, asked the nice lady if they had any offers that would convince me to stay with them, she said yes and set it all up there and then. Took about 10 minutes.

I've managed to speak via the online chat but they can't remember ever having a password. So that has to be sent to their address first before I can do anything 🤯.

@Barbara they have no understanding of the internet. My dad has major heart issues & my mum can't even work her phone properly.
