What are your Halloween plans?

We are not trick or treating this year and instead are making a spooky dinner and will play some Halloween themed games and a Halloween film with popcorn.

I'm actually glad I don't have to walk the streets in the cold and rain.

What are your plans?

Same as you - no trick or treating. Staying in with a film. Thinking up some games - so far just a Halloween treasure hunt - what games are you going to be playing?

We will trick and treat still, but onky go to family anyway so no change there.

Having a little tea party tomorrow. Have participated in an organised Halloween scavenger hunt today.

I also have some games for my lo tomorrow. 😊

I don't normally do this much, but given half term hasn't been normal nor 2020 full stop, some fun is needed!

DH and I are going out to supper. PILs have volunteered to sit in the near-dark at ours while the kids are in bed to deter trick or treaters

We usually love trick or treating, but not this year.

We're going to decorate the house, carve a pumpkin (hopefully we can still get one as I haven't bought it yet) and I'll set a little treasure hunt around the house for the kids to find some sweets and Halloween treats.

I'm hoping it chucks it down with rain all evening so the actual going out door to door might not be quite so missed.

No one has to miss out on anything but we do all need to find alternative ways to mark occasions this year.

Going to 2 family members house, knocking on the door at a specific time with a bag on a stik to be 2m away with ds.
Staying only minutes outside the house.

Then home for a Halloween tea party, Halloween movie in the dark with snacks. When I say party, I mean just us in our house.
We will be decorating the dining room tomorrow!
Will be fab!

Pizza, cake and a movie. Not doing a pumpkin so hopefully no one will know this year for sweets. Usually love seeing the costumes but too much of a risk and groups would put us over the rule of six which I wouldn’t be impressed with.

We are doing a Halloween treasure hunt round our street (it’s a very quiet cup de sac). We will do it, then leave it out for the other two families to do. We’ll have some Halloween themed food, thinking either mummified sausages or Halloween pizzas. Watch something Halloween themed but not scary (kids are 8 & 4) otherwise they won’t sleep! Both are extremely excited despite the lack of trick or treating!
