I've been waiting all week for a non rainy day to take the kids out..... it's not happened and tomorrow looks like rain too (greater Manchester) so we're going to bake some buns and cakes and decorate them.
Might carve the Halloween pumpkins 🎃 too if we have time!
I've booked this week off work and I feel like I've wasted it waiting for a decent day weather wise 😕🥺

Oh baking could definitely be a thing. Dd2 has been self-isolating for two weeks (no symptoms, school bubble off) and that would definitely encourage her out of her bedroom. And the teens have pumpkins to carve but they are also busy revising.
I think I might make some bread? And some vaguely healthy cakes too possibly.

Have a play date in the morning with a friend, then in afternoon we'll carve the pumpkins we got today & make chocolate & pumpkin brownies.

I need to walk the dogs first. There’s a gymkhana at the yard, I’m going along to cheer on the kids, plus I love fun stuff like this. My horse is on box rest due to injury so I can spend time with him too.

Walking the dog, possibly swimming in the sea, breakfast, cleaning the house a bit and making hummus, pizza dough and pizza sauce for a dinner party on Sat Eve, walking the dog, going to work for a couple of hours (cleaning job), coming home, shower and change, going to meet friends for dinner.

We're going to be baking in the morning, fairy cakes and then decorating them. We are having a Halloween party, just the four of us on Saturday and I'm excited- we normally just go trick or treating. In the afternoon I plan on taking the dc to the local adventure play area on their scooters, theres also a bmx/pump track nearby if it's not too busy there. We will call in to see my Dad on the way home - in the garden as long as the weather holds. At the moment it looks like the afternoon should be dry. If the weather changes we will carve the pumpkin and watch a film.

We started a huge marauders map (Harry Potter) puzzle the other day that has been on the dining table for a few days. So we need to try and get that finished too!

Today DC and I are having a Halloween party, which involves some very cheap games (stick the nose on the witch and Halloween bingo) that I bought from Amazon, some themed variation on musical statues (my DC are weird and like to play musical statues with just the 2 of them), a chocolate game, a slight variation on a board game we already own to make it halloween themed and making bat cakes. Later we will eat pizza and watch a film of their choice.
Tomorrow I am going to work. Hopefully, DH will take them covid trick or treating/ a walk round local streets handing out sweets to our own DC instead of other people's and carve a pumpkin.
