Face Wash recommendations for 10 year old

Hello,

I'm looking for facial wash for my 10 year old boy, who is getting a few spots here and there. The tricky thing is he has eczema. So a sensitive face wash, which also helps spots would be really good.

We were using the Eurecin mild milk face wash, which was so so good but they discounted it! They have a new range, so we bough the milk wash which has hyaluronic acid, but I was worried that the acid would not be good for his young skin for now.

Any suggestions? We had the Moogoo milk for a couple of months but did nothing to help spots. Eurecin was fantastic, but have no clue about their new skin care range. Please advice :)

My son uses my La Roche Posay Effaclar. He gets eczema sometimes and it hasn't dried his skin out or flared it up.

Lush Fresh pharmacy is brilliant. It's a bar soap and has calming calamine and other good ingredients in.
It costs like £8 or something and no longer needs to be weighed. Comes in one size.
I use it myself and it's fantastic although you need to moisturise afterwards as with all skin types because your oily skin will over compensate otherwise.

just warm water and flannel at this stage.

jaffajaffa he has dry skin. I'm worried that the bar soap will be too drying. A milk wash- which has additional properties (apart from acid) would be brilliant.

pinkbalcony I can't. I'm very big on skin care and vowed that I would teach my children, at a young age, how to take care of their skin.

Hylauronic acid is not an acid like you’re thinking see here. It is fine for his skin.

Warm water and a flannel is taking care of your skin Confused especially at age ten! Cerave is a very mild cleanser he can use if you insist on something.

My son is a teenager but uses Cerave which is available in Boots. It was recommended by Nadine Baggot who is someone who really knows her chemistry when it comes to what is in a product.

Here is her video on it, skin care should be about the issues that the skin has not age, 40 year olds also break out in spots. I also use the Cerave and my skin is incredibly sensitive and this is very kind and mild

Another vote for la Roche possay - really helped my dd’s spots. My Dd has sensitive skin and hasn’t had any reactions to this face wash

Fair comment, OP, but the one I've recommended is formulated for that purpose. I'd agree with you if you were talking about bar soap for the body, but this one is not stripping.
Moo goo moisturiser afterwards would be a good idea.

DS uses la Roche posay face wash and cerave moisturiser and that seems to suit his teenager skin!

Another for Roche posay effaclar, the lush fresh pharmacy dried out my skin too much. I still have acne as an adult, and eczema - flares up on my eyelids.

Thank you all. What version of the la Roche possay cleaner do you have? They have many. I've looked at the effaclar one- but it's for oily skin but DS has very drrry skin.

This one
m.feelunique.com/p/La-Roche-Posay-Effaclar-Gel-Purifying-Foaming-200ml
It's advertised for oily skin but it isn't drying. Not like most cleansers for spots.
