What sort of stuff are you after?

A lot of stuff you don't really need to buy as such. I always kept a supply of old magazines, greeting cards etc which could be cut up and re-used. Keep some of the recycling back for junk modelling - cereal packets, yoghurt pots, loo rolls etc.
Keep bits of ribbon etc from presents, bits of Christmas crackers etc.
