Aye, aye! I loathe beaches. All that sand.
I hate hot weather, the heat, the itchiness and the discomfort. I had a wonderful walk in the gusty wind today! Bliss.

Yes! I only really open my bedroom curtains (where I spend most of my time) when it's rainy and gloomy, very calming

I dont get holidays abroad.beach/sand grates on me. I onky like the beach when its stormy and cold.

Ive just been for a windy walk on Snowdon. Saw no one -bliss. Just me and the wind and showers.

Now home, lit the fire, roast dinner laters with a glass of red.

Yes me. If the heat goes over about 24 degrees I'm uncomfortable. Give me a cool spring day or cosy autumn one every time.

And I detest beaches. Now my kids are grown up I no longer need to tolerate them.

I'm ok with heat but I hate the sun! It makes me squint and I dislike sun cream. My perfect day is when it's cloudy and grey.

My curtains are closed on sunny days and opened wide when it’s wet or cloudy. My retirement fantasy is to move somewhere with lots of fog. I get ridiculously grumpy in the summer.

I've met my people. I actually celebrate the 1st September because I know that beautiful cold Autumn weather is on it's way. Have spent the last few night's researching our next big holiday... to Lapland!

I don't like it too hot as I'm a red head and burn very easily. I do like beaches to walk on, particularly when they are empty and remote, but I don't understand how anyone could enjoy lying on one all day. I can put up sitting by a pool on on the beach with a good book for an hour or two at the absolute maximum but then I get bored. I would hate to go to one of those resorts you see on tiny islands with just the hotel and a beach. No matter how white the sand and how clear the water it would be torture for me and I would probably be looking around for some sea turtles to tie together as a raft to make my escape.

@Terrace58 me too! I brought black out curtains a while ago with the intention of it just blocking out the sun until I'm ready to open them in the morning...
They're only opened when it's raining or at night time

I love root vegetable soups, hot chocolate, roast dinners, proper heavy puddings and endless cups of teas..

Not so much lemonade, watermelon and ice pops (not envy)

I'm happiest in autumn. I hate feeling sweaty, sticky and drained. I look better in winter clothing.

Well, I'm on the other thread too because I hate dark evenings and all this snuggling stuff. But I also hate the feel of sun on my skin, beaches unless I'm in the shade and there's a breeze and anything over 23° is too hot. May and September are the best months for me.
