Chilled out here. Had a nice trip to a local holiday park with DD. We like to go to the amusement arcade & she had a load of tickets to cash in. I love the 2p push & actually managed to walk away with most of my winnings. I have just written the week’s meal plan & made a shopping list & I am now thinking very hard about unpacking my winter clothes & putting my summer stuff away. DD & I have a ridiculous amount of clothes! I have just bought more leggings because I can’t find the ones I got very recently. Honestly our bedroom, the landing & the office resemble a Chinese laundry! Making cottage pie, cabbage & carrots for tea.

We have had a chilled day at home, and having a Bourne film afternoon. Work is going to be a full on nightmare next week so it is needed!

Jealous of your cabbage, my DH can't stand it so we never have it Smile

We've put the Halloween decs up outside as our village is doing a hint for kids rather than traditional trick or treat. The next door neighbours are quite new and their little girls came out to see what I was doing and said they like it so that's one pair of pleased children!
DH and I have made a roast which we've just finished and now the DCs and I are binge watching Simpsons.
Lovely chilled day

DH and I have blitzed the housework, girls are in their girl caves with their tech, the cat is snuggied up with whoever is running their room the warmest, I've cleared the washing and the ironing, have had a shower and washed my hair, and sat down with a (large) white wine, while DH plays his jazz in the kitchen, drinks his wine, and produces a non-Mumsnetty Roast chicken with all the trimmings.

Life is bloody good.

DS is running up and down stimming while thinking about his latest creative writing project.
DD is practicing for Oxford entrance exam.
DH playing RingFit - the DC have minor injuries so this is his chance to climb up the family leader board from a frankly dismal fourth place.
I’m about to start peeling spuds and parsnips for supper while I ring my father.
The cats are quiet at the moment but probably engaged in mischief of which I will discover evidence sometime later.

Very relaxed here, everyone is either reading or watching telly and all is well. We've already had tea so on the home straight now Smile

Pulled up laminated flooring in bedroom and landing, took up stair carpet and underlay, spent an hour pulling staples out of the stairs from the underlay, went to the tip twice , went to my DDs and put up two outside lights, took some garage racking to my mums and bought back a clothes rack, put clothes rack in loft extension and transferred summer clothes onto it, put up a new mirror, popped to the local shop, made a spag bol for tea and washed up. I'm knackered 😂 oh yeah and iv done two loads of washing

We just had our evening meal with a discussion about civil, nautical and astronomical dusk / dawn. I didn't realise how far north Berlin actually is from that point of view.

A restful day as I'm knackered from work at the moment. Finished reading yesterday's papers and a house magazine. Had a lovely long bath this morning which was nice. Cooking dinner now and will watch a bit of TV before an early night. Nothing exciting at all.

All chilled out here.

We took the dogs for a walk this morning, then DH went biking with his nephew while I blitzed the housework and cooked lunch. Had a lazy afternoon in front of the TV before I popped out to work (I'm a dog walker, so I did a walk and feeding visit) then came home to make a steak dinner!

I'm now snuggled up on the sofa under a lovely soft blanket, surrounded by a cat and the dog, while DH is watching a movie upstairs with another cat. The third cat is asleep on the rug!

I'm faffing about on mumsnet while dh is watching a documentary about boxing
Dog asleep ditto the cat.
We've been to rugby, dh went to see his dad and brother with the kids while I unblocked two sinks, changed some lightbulbs and made a roast .
Ive just had a bath, changed the bed and put on fresh pjs. I'm excited to go to bed as I've just replaced our flat skinny old duvet with a big fluffy one and I can't wait to try it out!

We had a lovely day. I had a curry made from yesterday so no cooking today - Yippee. Can't go anywhere really as on tight lockdown here. So I Decluttered. Declutter and then sorted a bit more. All done by 2pm. I also put away and put into charity bags all dc clothes and ironed. Washed all floors etc

Then we made halloween decorations. Went to the local poundshop and tesco for baking supplies. So shouldn't need to go out again really this week.

DH is doing a crossword.
I'm flicking between MN, Facebook, and Twitter.
Both DSes are watching F1.
DD is reading in her room.

DC2 is asleep, DC1 is reading in bed, DH has gone out for a walk after realising that his job is even more sedentary now he no longer walks from one meeting to the next. Cats are probably also asleep somewhere.
It's DC2's birthday tomorrow so I should be vacuuming the front room and wrapping presents. Today we have done some tidying and FIL and SIL have come round to our garden to visit in the rain.

All calm here. It's been an active day and a relaxing evening.

We put on strictly and both DSs played Duplo on the floor. Mostly without drama. DS1 then drew and coloured in some emojis. DS2 is little and thought they were called aubergines.

The place is a tip but everyone's happy.
