(8 Posts) Aww, RIP, Louis, our last sighting of him must have been very near the end
@TheySeeHerRowling Louis the cathedral cat passed away last year unfortunately, he was a very old man
I love Wells, wish I was there now Did you see the cathedral cat
We stopped in Wells. It was lovely. Sun shining, nice cup of tea.
Cheddar is lovely and lots of cafes around there. A walk up Jacobs Ladder will get your exercise in for the day!
Get thee up Glastonbury Tor....
If you like old buildings, break the journey in Wells and have a stroll around in the vicinity of the Cathedral.
Or for a more countryside thing, chew lakes
and I have a spare hour or so before I need to be at the airport, where should I stop? Are there any nice places on my route? I saw a sign for Cheddar Gorge on the way down, should I stop there?
I just want a cup of tea really, a walk maybe, and if there's anything interesting worth seeing that would be a bonus.
I need to leave my hotel at 10 and drop the car off at the airport at 12.30 so I've not really got time to go too far off my road.
Thank you
