No.

No. I had my primal triad removed under local anaesthetic with my wisdom teeth.

Nope. It makes zero sense scientifically speaking. There is nothing about me that is down to the position of a few planets on the day I was born. If you think about how tiny our planet is in a small galaxy in a massive infinite universe with multiple galaxies and planetary systems. So, how or why would where we, as millions of fairly insignificant humans with relatively short life be influenced by the position of rocks & gas and dying stars at moment of our birth or right now? It’s one of those belief systems that it is very hard to believe has survived into modern times! Each to their own though eh!?

Of course not, and neither does anyone else who has the intellectual capacity to tie their own shoe laces.

I don’t ‘like’ believe in anything.

I had a birthdate personality thing done for me once. It said I was highly intelligent, practically a genius, with excellent communication skills and my friends look up to me.
So, yes, I believe in it.

There is a lot science cant explain!!
Does that mean it's not real?
I suppose it depends which way you look at it but we are not insignificant, we are here for a reason
It's all about energy etc.

Might I refer you to @AgeLikeWine's comment above? Hmm

Also, I think you may be misunderstanding science. And energy. And significance.

There's a lot that science can't explain, but where did Astrology come from? How was it decided that a planet rising through a certain area of the sky means that someone born at X time in Y place is a hard worker?

I can understand that eg which season you are born in might have long term impact, but to me I can't see any basis whatsoever for thinking that astrology has any truth.

@AgeLikeWine that's a bit of an unkind comment . Would you say, for instance, that anybody who believes in a deity has no intellectual capacity ?
And I'm pretty sure that the OP didn't mean to put like in her thread title so it's a bit uncalled for to pick apart people's grammar.
Anyhow, @Peace92 I'm not entirely sure the extent to which I believe in astrology but I find it interesting. 'There are more things in heaven and earth , Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy' Smile

And bingo, there we go. A sure sign someone understands neither Hamlet nor science.

It’s a load of bollocks.

Just because science can’t explain something, doesn’t mean it must be ‘other’. Science thrives on not knowing. It is how it progresses. Science isn’t finite. Science revels in not knowing the answer, because that is the challenge.

I was born on NYE which means I'm destined to receive birthday presents wrapped in Christmas paper apparently.

Of course there are things science can't explain yet but inventing patterns is not the same as observing patterns.

Elieza · 09/10/2020 09:43

Yeah I believe.

I think what you see in the papers or online etc as a horoscope makes people less likely to believe in it as there are so many other things apart from your ‘star sign’ that need to be taken into consideration to provide an accurate reading.

I’d love to have one done but don’t have the cash at the mo.

Science tells us things can be in two places at once and time is a loop etc (I don’t understand quantum physics, even the Wikipedia info is over my head) so if weird shit like that is proven it’s only a matter of time before other weird shit is proven too. It’s been used for centuries so there must be something in it...!

Interesting that you say we're are not insignificant when I would say the complete opposite. If you imagine the size of the universe we don't register at all
