If you have a newish fridge freezer how cold is it?

I got a new Hoover fridge freezer last week but it's nowhere near as cold as my old one.
I'm not sure if it's some new eco/energy efficiency bobbins or if there's something wrong with it.
On previous fridges if I left a tin of coke at the back of the top shelf it would start to ice over.
This one the tins are cold but not what I would expect, more cool.
It recommends that the thermostat be at 3 but we have it at supercool.
The freezer works fine.

We have a new (6 months) freezer and it's incredibly cold. We have the dial in the middle and things are absolutely rock solid - it's an energy efficient one too .
Our fridge freezer is a bit older (1-2 years) but still very very cold. If things touch the back of the fridge they get frozen.
Have you got/can you get a fridge/freezer thermometer to check the actual temp? Fridge should be between 3-5 degrees I think and freezer about -18. If yours isn't reaching that on the highest setting, I'd be returning it for a replacement

I’ve had mine nearly a year now and it’s pretty cold, although I can’t compare it to my old one. It wasn’t brilliant even when it was new. Are you able to check the temperature inside the fridge?

I had to get a new fridge freezer earlier this year (right in the middle of lockdown which was funHmm) and had this problem. Sounds like there's something wrong with yours. I contacted the manufacturer who sent an engineer out who confirmed it wasn't working properly.

I have a Samsung FF (few weeks old) The fridge is at 3 and the freezer _19. Those were the pre set temps and i have not had to adjust them, they are plenty cold enough.

Fridge temp should between 5-8 degrees (according to Environmental Health), so things shouldn’t be icing over. OP why don’t you buy yourself a fridge thermometer? They are literally just a few pounds from amazon and will totally put your mind at rest.
