Kids Waterproofs

Anyone got any recommendations for waterproofs for a 3 and 6 old. Looking for something that will stay dry and keep them warm.

Think we will be outside a lot more this winter so need good quality outerwear. Have basic puddle suits but don't stay very in dry.

When my children were little we bought from Muddy Puddles. They were brilliant and lasted both children and were passed on to other family members.

We had Muddy Puddles and well and I know DD’s suit went to several others after ai passed it to a friend.

I would suggest get a non-lined one and get a seperate fleece suit. I found this easier to accommodate the various temperatures over the months and DD found it easier to walk than having a full blown snowsuit.

We had waterproof dungarees (buy big as they will last for ages) and just wore warm anoraks underneath. The dungarees went over their whole chest almost up to their shoulders!

If you get your timing right (and get there early) Lidl ones are brilliant. If you can’t get those, then Muddy Puddles as PP have said.

Yeah lidl ones were two weeks ago so worth a look to see if any left, absolutely brilliant quality.

Lidl or muddy puddles. I buy muddy puddles in the sale over summer.

Lidl seem to be keeping their waterproofs in stock most of the time now. The dungaree style, fleece lined waterproof trousers are excellent.

Muddy Puddles! They had a range called Puddleflex when my DS was little that was just brilliant. Really soft and non-rustly - I bought it year after year.

The Lidl ones are fantastic. Really hard wearing and kids have always stayed warm and dry. We’re on our 5th sets now! (12 months to 8 years!)

Spotty Otter
Bush Baby
Muddy Puddles
Didrickson’s, or the H&M/Lidl versions

We had the Bush Baby Hot Tot snowsuit in many sizes! Loved it.

Can recommend mountain warehouse for kids waterproofs. Good quality, not too expensive

Theres also a really lovely brand called 'Liewood' that do lovely baby things including waterproofs. It's quite Scandi looking and really good quality.
