... a wee, do you take the whole lot off or is there an easier way?

Drinking plenty to keep hydrated but a weak bladder and the sound of water is a bad combination! I've noticed that other ladies are in and out of the loos much quicker than me so I'm wondering if I'm doing it wrong blush

Pull the gusset to the side and keep your hand well out of the way)

welshweasel Tue 29-Sep-20 16:52:58

As above! Do people really strip right off?!

HerBigChance Tue 29-Sep-20 16:54:17

Buy a tankini

Freeekedout Tue 29-Sep-20 19:06:33

Fed up with getting stuck with the bloody thing round my hips where it will go neither up nor down!

If it is acceptable to pull the gusset to one side then that would make life a while lot quicker and easier!

I don't think the world needs to see me in a tankini 🤣

Acceptable? Who would know?

Xuli Tue 29-Sep-20 19:10:55

Oh yes, always to the side, just hold it quite high so no chance of peeing on your hand

slipperywhensparticus Tue 29-Sep-20 19:11:50

I have a two piece which meets in the middle

Pollyputthepizzaon Tue 29-Sep-20 19:14:45

I always just pull the gusset to the side. Couldn’t be arsed taking the whole thing down especially when wet!

TooExtraImmatureCheddar Tue 29-Sep-20 19:16:19

Mind blown! I always take mine off! I had no idea most people just pulled the gusset sideways.

JellyBert Tue 29-Sep-20 19:30:14

Oh god would never take it off, yes just pull the gusset to one side

Hoglet70 Tue 29-Sep-20 19:30:59

Gusset! Every time!

GreyishDays Tue 29-Sep-20 19:32:12

I’ve been scared to do the gusset thing but finally plucked up courage last year. It was fine!

BonnieMcflurry Tue 29-Sep-20 19:34:16

Why everyone lying like they don't pee in the pool

Lilybet1980 Tue 29-Sep-20 19:38:23

Oh my word. Never knew this was a thing.

Norightorwronganswer Tue 29-Sep-20 19:39:25

I’ve always taken mine right off!

sobloodysaddd Tue 29-Sep-20 19:46:19

Can't believe some of you were taking the whole swimmy off! I'm far too lazy for that and always get stuck when it won't go back up because it's wet, definitely a gusset side puller here grin

TwoLeftSocksWithHoles Tue 29-Sep-20 19:50:33

Crikey! shock do you lot get out the pool then?
... I don't even bother getting off the sunbed? grin

ComeOnGordon Tue 29-Sep-20 19:52:40

Gusset puller here too but only learned it since I’ve had kids and had to pee fast to keep an eye on them. It’s a game changer

lachy Tue 29-Sep-20 19:59:02

Gusset side swiper here too. Taught DD to do it as well.

VenusTiger Tue 29-Sep-20 20:01:44

Yep, same - pull the gusset to the side and hold it firmly!

Squiffany Tue 29-Sep-20 20:02:13

Pull the gusset to the side and keep your hand well out of the way)

This. Just make your flaps are properly tucked back in.

VenusTiger Tue 29-Sep-20 20:02:19

You need to push it aside of your rear also ime

NiceGerbil Tue 29-Sep-20 20:04:09

OMFG how did I not think to do a side gusset

Mind blown!

I have a legsuit thingy now so have gone to way too much trouble for decades and how to late hmm

BubblyBarbara Tue 29-Sep-20 20:04:17

Depending on the size of the pool and how hydrated you are I wouldn't necessarily bother to get out. Obviously not viable if you're less hydrated but plenty of kids and men are weeing in there already..
