What can I buy for £5 that will make me look nice and feel like a treat

I've been losing weight since July, and have just hit one of my mini goals. I have a horrible attitude to myself whenever I feel like I've "failed" at something, so I've been breaking the weightloss down into chunks, with small (non edible) rewards once I've hit certain goals, rather than trying to do everything all at once then telling myself I can't because I'm shit (and should therefore cry into my wine and crisps)

So £5 is my current budget for achieving this particular goal - and today I'm feeling really good about myself, pretty even, so I'd quite like something to reflect that. It's been ages since I've taken proper care of myself.

Do you wear make up? Maybe a new lipstick/gloss in a colour you wouldn't normally wear?
Well done on the weight loss

Ooh. Well done you!

A little lipstick? Make Up Revolution are reasonably priced and should come in under a fiver.

A nice tube of hand cream?

Bunch of flowers?

Great idea!
Fancy coffee, new nail varnish, a book.
Ooh or have a browse around your local charity shop for clothes?

I just got a couple of pricey perfume samples for free, just £5.50 delivery. Something like that?

Everything5pounds.Com for a new item of clothing, although you may have to pay postage. Or I second nail varnish or a nice bunch of flowers.

I’m doing the same thing! Yesterday I bought myself a soap and glory bubble bath that was £5 on offer at boots. I know it’s not the most extravagant treat but I never spend money on myself and especially not on trivial things!

Nice bathbomb from Lush, nail varnish, lip gloss/balm/stick, face mask

I would put it away and spend £10 next time, get some flowers, theyre my non edible treat or nice hand lotion.

I’d go to Superdrug and buy a nice bubble bath and a face mask(they do a range that are about a pound each. Or a Barry M gel nail polish(about £4)

The Ordinary squalene is about £5, will make you glow, really hydrating, lasts ages.

When I’m home alone I smother it on. I believe it’s essentially teenage face grease Grin that we lose as we age

I would buy a pair of exfoliating gloves. These usually cost around a pound. And a nice moisturising shower gel. This way you give your body a bit of a treat.

Our charity shops don't open until the weekend at the minute! There is a dearth of elderly old ladies to man the Good Ship Marie Curie. I'll have to fit that in soon though, as I'm running out of clothes.

I'd go to Poundland and buy shampoo, conditioner, body butter, bath oil and hand cream. Congratulations on the weight loss!

A good book - reward yourself with a long undisturbed* day of reading on the sofa with a roaring fire and a blanket - a proper chill out do nothing day lost in a good book. Followed by a long bath while you read the final chapters. I love a good book binge!

*may require negotiation with others!

Definitely something from everything5pounds.com it's a gamble but I've had really nice stuff like jumpers that would retail over £100.

Where does one buy perfume samples ? I'm in! This can be my treat. Otherwise would be a slightly nicer lip balm than I usually use

Well done!!!!

Not sure if you are the type but I recently bought a leopard print (but they do loads of different colours and patterns) hairband/headband from Next. It was £7 but you can get them for £5 or less in Primark and on ASOS/New Look
I love wearing it because I feel like I've made an effort even when I can't be bothered to do my hair properly!
