Cacca is Poo in French I think, so I'm guessing this is something like a cowpat?

Cacca is certainly poo in some languages (but cacahuète is French for peanut, so I'm not sure French is one of them). Mella sounds like the Latin for honey, implying sweet, as in diabetes mellitus...
