My friends 18 yr old ds is extremely lucky to be alive........food was going into his lungs. He ended up in intensive care and with a lot of issues with his digestive system and blood clots.

He's just starting to be weaned off the tube feed now but will be on blood thinners for life. He was one of the first cases in my town having contracted vivid back in march. The consequences for him are life long.

@WhatWouldYouDoWhatWouldJesusDo

My mum is also on blood thinners for life . Covid affects the composition of the blood.

I wish they would stop telling us its a respiratory virus - it isn't. Its a virus that attacks multiple organs.

So sorry about your partner's family. My daughter tested positive Wednesday, and my husband and I are waiting for our results. We have symptoms but are ok so far.
