Got my new car today. And have been researching and have seen that the keys need to be in a faraday box. Does everyone have one of these. And where do you keep yours. Where did you get it from.

My friend keeps her keys in a metal biscuit tin. It's supposed to block the signal.

I have a faraday pouch. I have a metal key safe which works for some, but if you have ‘comfort access’ you need the lead lined faraday pouch.

Metal tin is a faraday tin. Just in a metal tin is fine.

Doesn't work. I opened both our keyless cars with the keys in a tin

I get around this problem by driving a really crappy old car.
Works a treat.

Make sure you check your Faraday pouch regularly as they stop working over time, after around a year I checked and could open our car with the key in the pouch.

We also have a steering wheel lock and driveway bollards as our car was stolen a few years ago, car theft is pretty rife where we live.
