Name changed for this just out of sheer embarrassment.

Just spent a good hour getting my baby to bed, did the ninja tip toe out of the room feeling very smug. Lay down on the bed next door to their room and out proceeded the most almighty fart. It carried on for a good 30 seconds, I tried to stand up to stop it and that just seemed to push the air out at a greater velocity.
And it woke the baby up.

Please tell me I'm not alone in stupid ways you've woken your baby up? Make me feel a bit better?

Not woken the baby up, mainly as we don’t have one but I have woken myself up and went out to shout ‘what was that’ OH then informed me it was infact my own almighty fart that had woken me up

I used to wear a big fluffy dressing gown & I can recall crawling out of it on my belly, slithering almost -the aim being to leave the dressing gown behind so she thought I was asleep under it and just dissolving in to giggles at the ridiculousness of there situation - which unfortunately woke her. BUSTED!
