How comes every single time I have five guys I get a stomach upset ?

I’ve obviously decided I can’t eat it anymore as this happens everytime
I’ll have to stick to Nando’s when our shopping etc
But it’s so odd as no where else upset my stomach like this
Just makes me wonder why is it ?
Other fast food doesn't have this effect on me

At the same time, or one after another?

I read that very differently from what you meant!

Could it be the peanuts? Do you eat them?

I hate it when people bring up your past and throw it in your face.

Maybe there is something in the ingredients they use that disagrees with you?

They cook in peanut oil which is fairly unusual, maybe it’s that?

Maybe the five guys rearranged your insides a bit too much?

Sorry I know that's awful but I couldn't resist! Grin

Got me wanting one of their burgers now... they're yum!

A takeaway near mine gives me awful stomach cramps. The first time I wasn't sure it was that but after the third time it is definitely the cause. They cook their fried chicken and fries in lard instead of oil.

I'm fine on 5 Guys, but there's a local Indian restaurant that must use something in their cooking that disagrees with me . I can eat the same dishes as other people on the table, but I can guarantee that I'll be in distress 40 minutes later and they'll be fine.

I'm very embarrassed to say I interpreted your title badly Grin

I was for a second thinking cystitis could be the problem.

Do you have milk shakes? DH worked out it's the milkshakes whenever he ate out that gives him a stomach problem. Once he stops having them, he's fine.

Oh yeah it could be the peanut oil, it looks v v clean so it must be an ingredient

You guys and your filthy minds !! Grin

Never the milkshakes
Just a little cheeseburger which is a single burger and fries of which I only had half off
As there’s too many

Lard cooked chips ?! Why do I have a feeling they would taste so good !!!

Maybe that much meat in one sitting isn't good for you? Read that however you wish.
