Any Norwegian Mumsnetters please?

I recently bought a gift and had it personalised. On it I asked for Elsker Alltid (Love Always) but they’ve missed the r out so it now reads Elske Alltid. Can you tell me if this still works please/it means the same thing? I’ve tried a google search but I haven’t found a definitive answer. I know Elske means Love, I just don’t know if the r on the end is imperative!

Any help would be appreciated, thank you Wine

Google translate gives
-with the r .....always love
-without the r.....love always.
Screen shots attached. Maybe they missed it off on purpose so it said love always?

Thank you for your reply.

From the translations etc it seems Elske is fine too, it’s just that when reading about it Elsker seems to be the present tense and more widely used. I just want to make sure it has the same meaning.

Thank you :)
