Loathe loathe loathe

It feels like that time between boxing day and new year when you don't know what day of the week it is or when the bins go out and you just eat weird sandwiches made from random fridge contents.

It is SHIT

I don't speak to anyone one week to the next. My manager is playing favourites and has only asked some (most) of the team to return. The rest of us are just languishing at home like the rejects club.

Staff newsletter came out today, all about how everyone is banding together to beat covid, with lots of staff stories and think pieces. Not one thing about the people still at home or any inclusion of people WFH.

There was a major organisational change two weeks ago. None of the WFH people were told. Completely forgotten about.

I have asked repeatedly to come back in. There's no space. We're covid secure. Flat out NO.

Jesus I am so depressed with this crap.

Same here I hated it , so boring being in the house all day, no interaction with colleagues, lost all my energy.

Im getting like this.

I've always done at least one day a week from home and really valued that but the reason it was so good was the mix of office for chit chat/collaboration etc. and then home for quiet work.

Now I just feel so out of the loop, Im in touch with my team every day but phonecalls are stilted and not the same. I am starting to hate the job I loved. It sucks.
