I've already had a cuppa, in silence, listening to the wind in the big tree outside. Just debating making another, or getting dressed and putting the washer on.

We have nowhere to go and nothing much to do today other than make sure washing's done & a quick tidy round so I'm going to get my sewing machine out I think. Dd1 wants some face coverings to match her uniform so I'll do those then cut my top I've been getting round to making for the past few weeks 🙄

Dd2's tired after her first week back at school so will probably Minecraft with her friends online. & DD1 is trying to finish The Originals before Monday when she goes back.

Tea might be re-heated Chinese from last night for me & something easy for the girls. What about you lot? :)

DP is currently in the shower, I’m curled up on the sofa with DS watching Andys Animal Adventures or some such shit. I’m due DC2 in a few weeks so getting in as many cuddles as I can before the upheaval of a newborn.
We’re off to the park this afternoon.

I ran 6km and am now working from 8:30 to 5:00 with an hour off for lunch. Then DH and I are going to the cinema to see Tenet

I'm currently watching Jurassic Park 3 with one of the kids and posting rubbish on here.

Haven't got any further than pondering whether I can be bothered to go and get biscuits from the kitchen.

I was awake in the night though, fretting, so don't think today will be high impact somehow.

DS2 is playing Fortnite on the Switch and shouting down the mic at DS1's friends. He hasn't a clue what's happening in the game but they are going easy on him.

DS1 is playing on his tablet. DH is on his phone but about to go to Tesco to get some bits for lunch.

I'm having a cup of tea and not planning to do much at all. The DC have been back at school/nursery for 3 days and I've come down with a cold already. Next week at work will be very busy so I am going to try and rest as much as possible this weekend to try to get rid of this cold. Will do some cleaning if I can find the energy, but that might be tomorrow Grin

I've just had breakfast and a cuppa and am now summoning up the energy to clean up the porridge that exploded in the microwave!
No plans for the day, beyond a small trip to the post office, which is just what I need right now.

DS (17) is in bed.

I'm currently lying in bed as feeling exhausted from first trimester nausea (Currently 9+2).
So tired I called DH downstairs who told me he's been up since 7.45 and been out shopping etc.
I feel so lazy and a wee bit guilty but DH wanted me to have a long lie as I've been feeling so rubbish recently.

I have just come back to bed with a cuppa and a bacon sandwich. Grown up son who is visiting for a couple of weeks has also just been given breakfast in bed as a treat.
Conservatory doors are open so the two cats are milling in and out.
Contemplating doing some hoovering and cleaning up the utility room as one of the cats always drags her wet food out of the bowl.

In bed & just put Charlie & chocolate factory on for my 5yo. DH & eldest are up. Think I’m just about getting motivated to shower! Quiet day I think.

Working (allegedly) on the laptop, sat in bed and still in night clothes. DH has taken DC out to skateboard park so I get some peace. The house is an absolute shit tip but I am ignoring it. I should probably also have a shower but trying to finish work task first.
Later, planning to sort out downstairs and go for a walk for some fresh air. Maybe movie tonight, bought 'The Goonies' in charity shop and DH has never seen it (shocking!), think the kids will enjoy it!

I have a birthday party this afternoon (well, a little bbq) then tonight me and DP are off to watch Tenet. I’m
Excited but we’ve booked a late showing that doesn’t finish till midnight but now I’m worrying about how I’ll stay awake that late!

DH and I have just rearranged the spare room so that there’s room for us both to work in there at once. Very very pleased with the result. Looking forward to the children being back at school next week so that we can work and enjoy our space Smile

I need to go and make the lunch and then later we’re going for a walk. If we can motivate ourselves....

Basically I’m whiling the weekend away before school on Monday and I can tackle my mammoth to do list Grin

Seems like there are lots of relaxing days going on today.

I've had a quiet afternoon's sewing, vaguely organised myself a to-do list for my re-arranged Guides residential next April, and bought a couple of Christmas presents online (yes, I know, but there were discounts to take advantage of!).

I'm wondering if the girls are hungry yet though...
