Anyone doing anything interesting or invigorating this weekend? I'm so ... Bored. Can't think of anything to do. Tired of being with kids all the time too. What to Do with them!? I'm also Tired of having to Arrange stuff and plan stuff. Just bored. I sound like a sulking child!

God I've been so bored recently. Going to a plant fair at Belvoir Castle tomorrow with my DM. Walking and lunch on Sunday with another couple who we haven't seen since the beginning of the year. Sorry - that's not much help to you is it?

@Leah2005 am very jealous of your trip to Belvoir Castle. I grew up very near there somewhere relatively remote and could see it out of my bedroom window 😀

We are going to see one of those cheap kids movie screenings on Sunday morning. I'll probably nap through the film, but it's a couple of hours where I don't need to entertain them and they are less likely to fight each other. Bonus is, it's not weather dependent. £15 for a family of four....winner! The cinema is so far empty, other than us, and the seats around your group automatically close out once you have booked, so social distancing should go ok!

We are going swimming. The council pool reopened a couple of weeks ago with reduced capacity so sometimes, we get the pool pretty much to ourselves Grin

Selling my house and doing 11 viewings tomorrow! Sorry that won’t inspire you at all but I’m feeling lots of anticipation...

Absolutely nothing, the DC are emotionally overwhelmed with back to school so planning a very quiet weekend.

Tomorrow will feature pyjamas all day, they might go play in the garden and if it doesn't rain I'll put the tent up and we can camp out if they want to. Youngest wants to play Playdoh and middle two want to do some baking, eldest wants to read and play on the iPad.

Sunday I'll do a Sunday lunch, we'll go for a walk somewhere or to the park, and then have an afternoon of pottering around the house and garden.

@Merename 11 viewings! Wow that sounds intense - good luck! Excited for you Wine

Lots of people swimming! I think there's a pool on our area open ...

Plant sale sounds very nice @leah2005

I didn't realise cinemas were open. Will check.

Looked up go karting but my child is too young for it right now

I think I'll sleep on it. Been working hard so want to have some fun but how!

Nighty night busy bees

Hmm I think my boredom could be a frame of mind.

@Sharpkat and I'm jealous if you having been brought up there! It's a lovely day out if you can get back.

Flying to Athens. Look, it's Covid numbers are lower than ours, and I'll thole the quarantine for a couple of weeks of lovely weather and swimming in the sea.

Housework and football training Saturday. Long walk and table tennis Sunday. Plus homework and PS4 time. DS is 10. We've found that the local leisure centre has outdoor table tennis tables - no need to book, just bring your own equipment. For the sake of a £10 Amazon order it gives us an hour of family entertainment - right now, that'll do!

Oh, and swimming if you can. Our local pool allows you to book a lane for an hour during the family sessions - it's not as much fun as the leisure pool with slides, but DS is happily practising diving and swimming underwater.

We just find we need a few organised things to break the weekend up!

Shopping for school shirts and a lunchbox (none of mine go back til Monday), washing, probably a walk tomorrow and a pub stop for refreshments. Other than that, I’ve got some work to catch up on and dh has got to cut the lawn. I think one of the dc is going out this evening so I’ll be taxiing her and her friends no doubt. Scintillating stuff but we’ve got a really busy few weekends lined up for the next 4 weeks so I’m embracing the relaxation time!

We are traveling back from the seaside this afternoon (older kids not back until Monday so we booked a last minute break). We'll have a fish and chip lunch on the promenade before catching a train home.

Tomorrow will be washing, relaxing (kids been off for nigh on 6 months so going back to school will be a huge shock to the system), and generally getting my act together after a week of no housework or cooking etc.
