I've recently moved to a new area and have begun to make friends with a family who lives locally who have a DC the same age as mine. I have got on well with the woman and enjoy her company.
She is a hairdresser and runs a salon. I needed a haircut and as in my old home I used a very good mobile hairdresser, I asked my new friend whether she provides a mobile service or if she could recommend someone who does.
She said that she would be happy to cut my and my DC's hair at home, and she duly came and did so.
The trouble is, she told me as I was having the cut that she doesn't normally do a mobile service, and unfortunately I think that it showed. I really am not keen on the way she cut my hair and I just cannot get it to sit right since.
I'm intending to get my hair cut again at a salon that comes highly recommend, but am just wondering what to say if she sees me with a new cut and/or asks if I want her to do it again.
What should I say if she does bring it up?
