Slow cooker with pot that works on induction hob?

Does such a thing exist? I really feel using a separate pan first takes away some of the whole point of making life easier - I just want a family sized capacity slow cooker where the pot will work on my induction hob and I can’t seem to find one

Any recommendations gratefully received - autumn is coming and I neeeed stew!

Do you mean a large casserole type pot? A quick google tells me Le Creuset casserole dishes work on induction hobs.

Yep mine does! It’s a big crock pot white one. Sorry can’t remember the exact model, it’s a Which Best Buy.

I have an instant pot which you can use for slow cooking. But it has a saute function so you can brown stuff in it first.

I have an instant pot that has a sauté function, it is great for browning onions or meat before setting it to slow cooker mode.

The instant pot is obviously first and foremost a pressure cooker. The most amazing thing is being able to cook frozen chicken breast in it for a lunch. It is a game changer.

Crockpot do one with a pot you can sauté on an induction hob. There's a few around but be careful as they're not all suitable for induction hobs

Instant pots look good but very expensive!

I have the Russell Hobbs express chef multi cooker, it's not as expensive as an Instant Pot and has both a sauté and slow cook function. There are lots of other brands that are similar but also cheaper than instant pot, it's awesome being able to cook everything in the one pot.

I have an instant pot and the lake land slow cooker. I much prefer the lakeland slow cooker for slow cooking and searing things as the pot feels much more heavy duty and is non stick

After many many years of browning things before putting in the slow cooker, I discovered that it makes no difference at all if you don’t, so I stopped.

I like to caramelise the sofrito when making bolognese or shepherd pie filling. It definitely makes a difference. I also like to cook the spices for curries etc

I also make a sausage and butter bean cassoulet in the slow cooker and don't fancy unbrowned sausages

Just checked on the bottom and it’s the crock pot model CSC026. This one 100% works with induction. The one on your link ends in 38 but may also be induction too?

I have the metal insert Murphy Richards slow cooker - straight from job to slow cooking and it’s a lot lighter than the ceramic one I used to have, which makes pouring easier.
