What to do with Mums stuff?

So my DM passed away earlier this year, I currently have a lot of bits and pieces in storage as the house had to be emptied.
I was going to take a lot to charity, but heard somewhere they're not taking donations? Is that correct?
What can I do with it? I don't want to dump it 😶
I've kept some things, but it's impossible for me to keep it all 😳😳
