The other day I was making a recipe from one of the weaning books that called for a tiny bit of butter with some mashed potato and other veggies. I've just been in the fridge fro something else and realised I must have used the salted butter as the unsalted is open!
It wouldn't have been much at all, he didn't have cheese or anything that day and I never add salt to any of his meals. He seems fine but should I be worried? Everything I've read says baby's kidneys can be affected by this, but as a one off does anyone know if we should be ok?
He's still giving wet nappies and dirty nappies, perfectly happy in himself well, despite the heat, but I'm a bit worried now!
I was a bit dubious about adding butter at all and am now kicking myself!
