My DD turned 1 a few weeks ago so I thought I'd slowly introduce fresh cows milk. I started off with only giving it for her naps and still giving her formula in mornings and before bed. All seemed great so thought I'd fully give her cows milk now.

Past few days she has been constipated and seems like is in abit of pain.

Do I carry on giving her fresh milk an let it pass or do I go back to formula??

Not sure what to do. First time mum so advice would really be appreciated pleaseeee

One of mine was the same. I ended up using 1 plus formula for another 3 months, before trying the cows milk again. It was fine in the end.

Are you giving full fat? Just because semi skinned can play havoc with their tummies

Some babies take to cows milk straight away (my DS2 did) didn’t even notice we’d changed but others like my DS1 struggled a bit so we slowly introduced it until he got used to it

They’re all different but if it’s not working for you no reason you can’t stay on formula a bit longer

Yes I am giving full fat at the moment.

I did start it slowly with DD I was giving her both and she seemed fine so then I just went down to fresh milk only. She doesn't seem like she's in a lot of pain she seems her normal self but her poo are like hard little pebbles an is struggling a little more than usual.

So I was just wondering do I carry on with the fresh milk until this passes or go back to formula?
