Watching TV this morning and heard someone say that the population of London is greater than that of Wales and Scotland put together. I had no idea!

Anyone else have anything that has fascinated them that they just hadn't thought about?

The difference between a million and a billion.

This puts it in context:

One million seconds is 11 days, 13 hours 46 minutes and 40 seconds.

1 billion seconds is 31 years, 251 days, 13 hours, 34 minutes, 54.7843 seconds.

Mind blowing!

The fact that Flat Earthers exist. I find it absolutely intriguing that some people genuinely believe the Earth is flat, and they're really serious about it and not joking.

Cleopatra lived about 2000 years ago. The first Pyramids were built about 2500 before her time!
