Don't know then. Maybe seek medical attention?

Too old to stitch now, I'd leave it be and wait for the stitches that are already in to come out. If you're concerned speak with GP.

The bottom stitch looks like it’s burst; get in touch with the department where it was done. They can review it or your GP practice nurse can review it.

It’s booked in to be taken out on Thursday so perhaps it will heal over by then and if it’s not healed over by then
Perhaps they will need to stitch it again or something?

Hiya, nurse here;
It will be too old to restitch. They will probably take the stitches out and put a few steri strips to reinforce the closure of the wound. May potentially use wound glue, but it depends on how the wound looks.

Good sign is it doesn't look infected (that I can see)

Keep it clean and dry and any concerns of redness/oozing/pain - voice those concerns at your appointment

I'm not sure they will stitch it again if it's been 3 days to be honest. Maybe contact your practice nurse for advice tomorrow

I would wait until Thursday, but I'd advise maybe to cover with a waterproof dressing, making sure the sticky part is not on the wound.

Obviously it's just my opinion what I would do if I was in your situation. If you feel it needs to be reassessed then go to your local walk in clinic/practice nurse sooner than Thursday for a wound review

Yeah I think that’s what I wanna do,

The wound edges look white and soggy, have you kept it dry?
What dressing was on it?

I did have a wound like that which I was worried it wasn't healing, but it turned out fine.

If it was mine I'd take out the stitches, keep it clean and dry and have a cool new scar. But I'm weird like that.

Yes we washed it as directed
Well a quick paddle in the bath
Then clean dry dressing on
