Never been, always wanted to, and just booked!

Flying into Brandenburg airport at 9.30pm so will be pitched straight into it. No idea where is good in terms of locations to look for accommodation - or to avoid.

Where's good to stay / what to do? I'll have a pair of 7 year old girls with me. Brandenburg Gate, spy museum, Berlin Wall, and I seem to remember something about a beautiful garden.

I think its nice to have a meander. If you have the time and energy, perhaps look at east and west Berlin to compare? You may still get to see an old bullet hole in a wall, although I understand The Wall has been completely removed now.

I live in Berlin and you might want to look for accommodation in Prenzlauerberg which is very clean ( for Berlin!) and family friendly. I don’t recommend staying right in the center as it’s a bit lifeless and Berlin is very well connected. It’s divided into neighborhoods, so you’ll never be far away from some action!

Great tips, thank you. Love a good wander, but equally want to make sure we cover key things.

Any neighbourhoods we should avoid @escocesita? Will check out the one you recommended, thank you.
