Could it be broken?

DS fell off his cabin bed ladder last week. He was really crying at the time about his arm but he used the sore arm to push himself up off the floor so I assumed not broken.

The next day was his birthday and he had a bouncy castle and he was making full use of it, flips, roll overs, bouncing.

He keeps complaining that his arm hurts. Not continously but every so often he says his arm stings. Surley if it was broken he would have been in agony all week?

Would you go to a & e for an X Ray? There is no swelling or bruising and wasn't when he did it either. It doeant hurt to press on it or anything.

I used to teach riding and one little boy of 6 was having his usual lesson and was very out of sorts and unhappy through the lesson , so I cut it short and returned him to his mum who said oh he fell off his bike a few days ago and has been whiny since , I suggested she too him and got him checked out turns out he had a broken leg
Go and get your son checked for peace of mind

My DD had similar it was called a green stick fracture. Where the bone bent rather than broke.

She wore a sling for 2 weeks after having xrays.

I've neber come across a broken bone or had one myself so just assumed you know if its broken.

Better get it looked at, can minor injuries look at it or does it need to be a and e?

Depends if your local minor injuries has an X-ray machine and can use it for emergencies

Minor Injuries should be OK, personally I’d check if there is X-ray there just in case

Dd fell off a log climbing frame. About a metre above the ground.

Whinge a bit, first aider friend poked and prodded and assured me it was fine as she never even flinched when he touched her.
Later that night, I gave her my phone to play on and she refused to use her left hand
Ulna and radius were both broken.
Kids are tough
Get him checked.
At least you will know.
