Christmas breaks Uk hotels

I know it’s only July but does anyone have any recommendations for hotels that do lovely stays over Christmas including meals etc?! Looking at ideas as we would usually go away but can’t see that happening! Ideally in south of England/midlands.

We stayed in Saunton Sands in north Devon a couple of years ago between Christmas and New Year and it was lovely. Also liked Jury's Inn in Brighton but ate out - lots of restaurants right behind the hotel so very easy to go out to eat.

Sounds lovely! These might be a bit above budget but are naive hotels.
How about The Grove? www.thegrove.co.uk/festivities/

Or Bovey Castle?

The Exclusive chain also do similar packages. Pennyhill Park is lovely!

I honestly think that Christmas is an especially expensive time to stay anywhere. Normally £700 for two people can pay for something really nice.

I would stay at home and then go away in between Xmas and new year for a break (cheaper).

If you had a bit more budget - www.whittlebury.com/spa/package-finder/three-night-christmas-stay . I have been there for a couple of Christmases, but that was about 15 years ago, so can’t vouch for it recently...
