Something to drink nicetea /coffee or an alcoholic beverage.
Something sweet - scones, local cakes, fruit cake.

What about some nice coffee or tea, something fizzy to drink? Pâté, crackers/breadstick type things, anything sweet like some nice biscuits or cheesecake or scones?

Coffee my mum would appreciate that , dad definitely something sweet.

Nibbles/snacks like nuts, or dried fruit or habas fritas. Some Membrillo paste to go with the cheese. Smoked salmon or potted fish?

Nuts ! Never thought of that .
Never heard of membrillo paste will try and find it

I'm making a small hamper up for my parents wedding anniversary. So far on my list have
Selection of cheeses ( brie , camembert, haloumi , mozzarella)
Crackers
Crusty bread / baguette
Red / green Grapes
Beef tomatoes ( to go with the mozzarella)
Chuntneys
Chorizo
Pepperami slices ( mild , spicy )
Bottle of wine

What else could I add ?
