Any dentists about - cracked a tooth

Cracked a tooth yesterday, a top molar. The outside face of the tooth is still attached at the gum but not it seems to the rest of the tooth so it's very loose. Is there anything I can do until i can see a dentist? Not in any pain right now.

I already lost half a tooth on the other side at the beginning of lock down, going to end up with no upper molars at this rate :-( I had one crumble last year that then had to be extracted. ( Lived with undiagnosed coeliac disease for years which has had lasting effects on my teeth )

Dentists are allowed to open from Monday 8th June. They’ll probably deal with breakages and pain initially
So call Monday see what they can do

Yes, I'm hoping that I'll be able to see a dentist next week. I was just wondering if there's anything I could do in the meantime, the loose bit of tooth means I can't eat properly, not sure if I should try and remove or try and keep it in place?

And just hope I can find a dentist in this area. I normally work away from home and my dentist is in the location where I work but I'm working from home right now, a few hundred miles away.

If you can remove the broken loose fragment easily enough I'd do that. Can you do it with fingers just? If it's very painful doing that or you'd need a tool I wouldn't do it. Lean forward so there's no chance of it disappearing down your throat.

Not sure how easily the fragment will come out. Not really sure how it's held in! I will investigate later, just worried about causing it to be painful but at the same time it'll be easier to clean without the fragment.

It won't come out easily so will have to stay where it is, diet of soup for me. Don't want to risk it coming out when i'm eating and biting it and doing more damage to my other teeth.

I'm really hoping I can see a dentist this week, even if all they can do is remove the offending fragment. I've had a bit more of an effort myself and it requires more force to remove than I'm happy to try.

Eating was about the only pleasure left due to lockdown and now I can't even do that properly.
