For me, it's putting people at ease.

I've not got the best self esteem but by goodness I'm authentic.

What are you good at - even if you'd never let on!

Clay pigeon shooting. I'm brilliant. No idea why as I've only been a few times but I very much enjoyed making the very cocky members of the group look rubbish.

BigGreenGlasses · 28/02/2020 20:15

Some sing, some dance, I fold fitted sheets.

yumbum · 28/02/2020 20:16

NC for this one: fanny farts on demand.

Iwonder777 · 28/02/2020 20:17

I laughed out loud at your awesome responses 😂

Avoiding attention. It's a special art form.

gladysinthepicture · 28/02/2020 20:19

apple crumbles

LeoTimmyandVi · 28/02/2020 20:19

Listening and calming people when distressed - good job that skill is also a big part of my day job!

WhisperingJesse · 28/02/2020 20:19

Parking. I am really good at parking my car even in very tight spaces 😀

Shosha1 · 28/02/2020 20:19

Putting the fear if God into children with one look.

I have been a Nanny for 45 years 😉

Judgybitch · 28/02/2020 20:20

Bizarrely I'm am also amazing at clay pigeon shooting, also axe throwing. Only done them once each but over 90% success rate. It makes my husband grumble however. As I just pick this stuff up. If it's a physical task I can do it.

beelzeboob · 28/02/2020 20:21

Sarcasm.

SinglePringle · 28/02/2020 20:22

Singing. And it’s not just my opinion - I’ve had people stop in their tracks and come and tell me at (say) work when I thought I had the office to myself Blush.

I’m a great dancer. I always pull on the dance floor. Always.

Talking to anyone and finding out their life story / history without prying. People ‘spill’ to me!

Decorating / interiors / clothing. I’ve got an eye for colour and am able to mix / match old pieces with new.

I’m crap at romantic relationships, handling money, not letting people know if I think they’re an idiot and driving.

Iwonder777 · 28/02/2020 20:23

Aw I'm loving these.

Handstands. No real reason, never an amazing gymnast but I can find my balance and hold a handstand fairly easily. Not a talent I have a great need of really.

ContessaferJones · 28/02/2020 20:23

I think I'm pretty good with words. Manipulating them is my day job so I damn well hope I am anyway Grin

I think I'm also good at making conversation, in a slightly "She's bonkers but at least friendly bonkers" sort of way....

Forgottenturtle · 28/02/2020 20:24

Hmm Judybitch I'll have to try axe throwing. I thought I'd be awesome at fencing too but sadly not so maybe being great at axe throwing would help to compensate.

Shannith · 28/02/2020 20:24

Managing lots of people. I find it easy and I'm very good at it.

Kanga83 · 28/02/2020 20:24

Sarcasm and quick wit. Not always a good trait to have. I excel at my resting bitch face too.

HerRoyalCarbyLess · 28/02/2020 20:26

According to my job centre work coach I'm good at listening. I know her life story and I've only met her 3 times. The truth is I'm autistic and feel extremely awkward and don't really understand social interactions so I just leave her to it.

What I'm actually good at is remembering numbers.
I know not only my own pin number, but my brother's, my mum's, my dad's, my stepdads, 2 friends and my uncle.
I also remember phone numbers without needing to write them down, I can remember the long card number on the front of my bank card, and I have memorised pi to 10 decimal places (3.1415926535)

hollieberrie · 28/02/2020 20:26

Choosing the best and most delicious cake in a bakery. Every time. It's a talent.

ThePolishWombat · 28/02/2020 20:26

I can sing.
As a kid and through my teens I would perform at every single school show, I would busk with my guitar on Saturdays in town. Was in a rock band with some lads from school and we would play in local pubs. Had a bad experience with a very drunk man at one of those gigs.
Never performed in public ever again. So now I live in a different area of the country, none of my friends I have now have any idea.

Iwonder777 · 28/02/2020 20:27

Lol to cake and talent.

You guys are marvellous I hope you know that 😂

Internet searches, it's like my actual job.
Cwching the cat- she loves it! Grin

SinglePringle · 28/02/2020 20:29

And sex. I’m apparently great in the sack. Just shite at the relationship stuff around it.

Playdoughbum · 28/02/2020 20:29

I can pick the queue that contains a person with vouchers that won’t work/a non barcoded item/ an item on offer that won’t scan. Every time.
Very special talent Grin
