What's the heaviest/lightest you have been as an adult, what are you now...

and at what point would you say that generally you were happiest with life in general?
I'll go first. I was lightest in my late twenties at 9st 4lb, I'd split up with a boyfriend and had then been ill with a vomiting bug, I was miserable. I was heaviest after the birth of my third child, 13 st 6lb. Funnily enough I can't remember feeling bothered by that (too busy keeping other humans alive!). It's taken over 4 years but I am now at 11 st. I suppose what I'm realising is is that although I think I'd like to be 9st something again, it doesn't really equate to personal happiness does it? and cakes can bring great joy...

I was 9 2 when I got married, various weights up to 12 stone when pregnant or just given birth and always got back down to around 10 but in last two years I went up to 12 12.5 joined sw and am down to 11 2 my target is 10 10 as I feel it’s realistic but ideally I would one day like to see 9 13 on the scales.
Although I am reminded in your 40s you need to decide between your arse and your face Grin

Well I'm 5'10 and at my lightest I was about 14 but not sure what weight I was. Had an eating disorder though, which still rears its ugly head from time to time when I'm feeling really bad. The lightest I can remember being after kids was just under 11 stone. I liked being that weight. The heaviest was nearly 13 stone. Right now I'm 12 and have been for about a year and a ghalf /2 years. I just can not get into the fram of mind to lose weight. I'm pretty unhappy but it's not shifting as easily as it used to and I don't have the self control I had before. Working with kids and having a dp that never stops eating crap around me doesn't help either.

I'm 5'4. 6stone 12lb at lightest (I was unwell), 10 stone at heaviest (chubby teenage phase) and currently just under 9 Stone, although happier closer to 8.

I'm 5ft 9in, had a few eating issues in the past, starved myself to 9st 3lb, then went the other way to about 14st. I'm now 12st but it's 20 years later so my metabolism is slowing down. I think I looked the best after my son was born and I was 10st 6lbs give or take. I'd like to be 11st now. At that weight I'm between a size 12 and 14. Currently a 14/16. I don't think my bmi classes me as over weight currently but my tummy is big imo. I do have massive boobs though.

I'm 5'9. Constant 8 1/2 stone until mid 20s, heaviest 12st after my last child. I'm around 10 1/2 now. Any thinner and my face looks aged.

I'm 5'3". The lightest I've been as an adult was about 8 stone 3lb, and that was during a high-stress period where I wasn't eating properly at all. Highest weight was 11 stone - far too much for my height. I'm around 9 stone now and happy with that. My weight varies quite a lot and I have clothes of several different sizes that I don't want to get rid of just in case I need them again!

@Iminaglasscaseofemotion I did wonder about posting this in case it was triggering for people that had issues, sorry if it's triggering. I think I'm just realising in my forties that under stone is not realistic for me anymore and actually I'm not sure it would bring me the happiness I presume it could! and having two gravely ill members of my family makes me realise healthy is more important than being a clothes horse!

Heaviest I've been when not pregnant is 11.5 stone. Lightest I've been is 8st 4lbs which is my current weight. I eat well and full fat etc but cannot seem to gain. My BMI is nearly in the underweight category (nurse told me off in asthma clinic yesterday). I got up to 8st8lb recently but Llost it again quickly. Fairly sure I have a thyroid problem. I look better closer to 9st.

I'm 5'3". In my mid-20's I was just over 7 stone, but had an eating disorder and was not very happy.
Heaviest was 9.5 stone, currently just over 9. I've given up caring tbh. Have a brief spurt of healthy when it comes up to bikini season, and then can't be arsed to think about food and calories any more. It's so boring and used to dominate so much of my life. Zzzz.

Lightest aged about 25- 9st7 (although was very poor and a single mum/student/ no car so walked everywhere) - was not healthy even though I was slim, I did zero exercise and lived on cigarettes and toast.

Was 11.7 when I got married, 2011, size 10/12
After 2nd baby I was up to about 13stone
Lost Weight to 10.9 and got pregnant again with no 3
Ballooned due to gestational diabetes, very quickly, was probably around 14 stone by the end.
13.6 after he was born and I decided to lose weight
Did low carb and lost a bit, then regained.,
Restarted low carb but started running too, and the lowest I got to was 10.3. Currently 10.8 but I'm very lean now, I have a fair bit of muscle! According to bmi I'm about 3 pounds away from being 'overweight' and yet I'm pretty fit, run 30km a week, do weights and other tough classes. I'm certainly the fittest I've ever been in my life.

I'd like to be under 10 stone for vanity reasons, but I actually don't think it's possible. For me being slim means exercise, and exercise means muscle weight so I will always be heavy for my size.

I’m 5ft 6.
Lightest was 20/21 when I was 9 stone (size 8).
Heaviest was 27 when I was 14 stone 9lb (size 18).
Currently 31 and 12 stone 2lb (size 14).
I struggle to lose much weight as food makes me so happy and I always overindulge.

7st4 at 18 and 5'5. Around 15 stone, heavily bloated and quite fat underneath it all, at the end of my first pregnancy. Now 50 and last weighed myself at 10st3, which is just a smidgen over where I would like to be. I'm at least an inch shorter than my 18 year old self.

At my heaviest, I was trying to expel a large baby from my vagina. According to my husband, I was not very jolly.

(It has taken me ten minutes to type this as the wind keeps blowing me away and I nearly fell down a drain back there.)

I don't know about my younger adult years as I never weighed myself. Being pregnant at 22 was the first time I was weighed since I was a child as we never had scales at home. I have a lot of issues over my weight from emotional abuse from my mum through my whole childhood, constantly being told I was fat (being told she had to have an emergency c-section as I was too fat even as a newborn baby, as a young teen told I looked fatter than her heavily pregnant friend etc) but when I asked for healthier food I was told to go buy and cook it myself as she didn't like it. If she did cook vegetables she would cover them in a ton of butter and sugar so she liked them more. She was always underweight so that never affected her. Looking back at photos of me now, I really wasn't fat. I wasn't super skinny or underweight like she was but I didn't deserve the comments I got.

A few years ago I was starting to have major health issues and weighed myself and was shocked to see I was just over 19 stone.

I lost over 3 stone of that but after another bout of ill health did gain some back.

I'm now at just under 17 stone and still working on losing weight. I do a lot of different fitness classes and have a (mostly) healthy diet (there is the occasional treat but I'm more careful about what I choose and it's rarely anything sugary.) I'm on medication which doesn't help but the weight is slowly coming off still. I have been able to come off one lot of medication completely, another I can never give up but the third I'm working (with my doc) on lowering the dose as I lose weight too so hopefully that will help my weight loss in the long run as well.

Sorry if that was a longer answer than you were expecting. Blush
