Is anyone buying anything for black Friday?

I've bought one thing only, a present for a big birthday for my mum, that is genuinely half price compared to the best price for the last few months. I think a lot of the deals aren't that great though. How about you?

I’ve got my eye on an Instantpot and the Lifeforme yoga mat. Neither have shifted in price yet but I’m hoping the best deals will come on actual Black Friday 🤞

Absolutely not. I don't buy into any of this consumerist bollocks.

I love this time of year because I automatically delete all emails that have 'Black Friday' in the subject line or body. Makes clearing my inbox a quicker job.

I bought an echo dot and a bigger Alexa. I’ve had my eye on them for a while and I’m pleased with the discount.

I got a Nintendo switch and the new Pokémon sword game in a bundle from currys for £279, v pleased with that as the switch alone is usually £279 and the sword game is £44.99.

DS had asked for a Lego Hogwort’s Express, is prices it at £80 and got it for £50 on Amazon!

i need a new phone. Actually need - the battery on the old one is shagged and it doesn't last 'til lunchtime. I've been forcing it to limp on while I wait for Black Friday. The one I have my eye on is £70 off right now, but holding fire until the 29th to see if anything better comes along.

Snap, I got one as well. But I also got the smart light bulbs that go with it.
I'm really looking forward to shouting "turn the light on". Grin

Nope, I'm the total opposite of Becky Bloomwood Shopaholic and channel her sister Jess.
Do I need it? Did I want or need one before I saw it was 50% off or whatever?!
No?
Then how is it a friggin bargain then?!

I have a list of stuff I want to get next week for christmas, but now that the sales start earlier it is difficult to know when to buy in case the price drops further

I bought 2 echo dots 2 weeks ago at £35 Angry so I've returned them today and bought 2 more at £22 Blush. Goddammit. I did nearly wait originally but I got a bit keen with my Xmas shopping.

I'm trying to.

But they're selling utter shite at a discount, not the things I actually need, some of which I swear have actually gone up in price.

I got a dot, which I already had earmarked as one of the DC's Christmas presents.

I'm eyeing up a Hive thermostat, as we've recently had our heating system replaced and I genuinely hate our new ridiculous thermostat. I feel that Hive would solve a lot of my problems.

I have also been newly tempted by the Echo with a screen but that's definitely a want rather than a need so it's not going in the shopping trolley.

Also found the laptop I bought 2 weeks ago reduced by £175, grrrrr

I too want a couple of echo dots. I think Curry's have price matched amazon so I'll try there on Monday.
I also want the limited edition Glossybox with the Huda beauty palette. I've wanted that palette for ages so that box looks like an absolute bargain. I really hope I'm fast enough! I'm not usually.

The tablet is was going to get for myself is now £40 off in currys, so I'll be picking that up today, it includes 6m free spotify which would save me £60 as I'm getting us all family spotify for Xmas.
