What nice things do you do with your toddler

I feel like I am struggling a bit at the moment and letting my DS down. He is 18 months old and we used to do lots of lovely things when I was on maternity leave. Now I feel that whenever I am with him I am very stressed. I want to do more for him.

What nice things do you do with your little ones?

I spend a lot of time in the garden with my 20 month old , he loves getting grubby !
We also go looking for puddles to splash in on a little walk

OP - I doubt very much he feels in any way let down. I bet you’re a great mum.

I did way more with my dd whilst I was on maternity leave, now we only get Fri-Sun to do anything really as I get home so late in the evenings.

We’re in London so we’ve got a load of options, here’s what we’ve been doing the last few months:

Swimming (can be a bit busy on the weekends)
Galleries (she loves looking at the art - well, that’s what I tell myself anyway)
Shopping - she loves to people watch
Arts and crafts activities - there’s a few places that does classes for babies
Soft play (by far her favourite)
Local farm to feed the animals and brunch afterwards
Long walks with her bundled up with lunch at the end
Cinema - we went to see hey Dugge last week

I have 1 mid week day off with my DD 2.5 and I love it because we get to do things away from the weekend rush. Playgroup, swimming, theme park places.
Sometimes it's nice to have a lazy day and bake, imagination play, play doh, puzzles, train tracks.

I quite often arrange play dates with friends. Just having another mini to run round the park with is enough x

Ds is 3.5 now but when he was 18 months, we did a lot of soft play, playgroups in the childrens centres, playgrounds, tumble tots, swimming.
