I’m in horrible pain, got a Chinese takeaway on the way and I want to watch something enjoyable. We mainly spend our evenings semi conscious watching TV so we’ve seen all the usually recommended stuff...

Is there anything recent on Netflix / Prime / iplayer etc that’s any good?

It might not be to your tastes but I have really enjoyed Top Boy on Netflix recently. Wasn’t expecting much of it but it was great.

The Boys g.co/kgs/HqbTJT

Only seen the first episode but enjoying it so far.

Also The Middle. I don't know if I've missed this or it's just come on Amazon Prime but there seems to be 9 series of this and I've watched the first series and really enjoyed most of them.

What we do in the shadows on iplayer. I thought it would be dreadful, but it really is hilarious.
Happy watching and hope you feel better.

Season 3 of atypical has launched.

SinkGirl Sat 09-Nov-19 06:39:31

Thanks for all the suggestions - there are a few here I haven’t seen so will get cracking!

I absolutely love What We Do In The Shadows! I love the film even more - I wasn’t convinced by the first couples of episodes but it just got better and better.

Haven’t seen Atypical - my twins have ASD and I wasn’t sure whether it would be one of those things where it gets it or not. Will check it out though.

I actually haven’t seen Friday Night Dinner - I caught one episode once years ago and didn’t love it but should probably start from the beginning.

I’ll be okay thanks - just stupid period / endometriosis causing me trouble. It will pass smile

Hope you feel more able to deal with today flowers
