I'm trapped indoors with poorly child and constipated toddler - not a good combination. Feel like I'm keeping it together by the skin of my teeth.

struggling at work with the most horrific cold & to top it off promised DH I'd go with him to a Halloween horror maze experience tonight so could really do without standing in a field for a few hours being scarred shitless

My day is about as charming as yours. I look and feel like hammered shit.

Trying to keep a feral 2 year old amused with limited petrol, money, resources and patience. It's not going well.

Not too bright actually. 24 hour journey back from holiday ended in a 'who's got the car keys' tiff in baggage reclaim. Then the car started acting possessed on the drive home and it looks as though the turbo has gone. She's in the garage but it could mean a new car. Then the blokes who were supposed to do our driveway whilst we were away are still here and thumping slabs down and cutting them. Too much!!!!!!!

Day off. Been looking forward to having a 'me' day for weeks. However ddog is whining and being all hyper despite a walk after dropping DC at school and I'm now contemplating going upstairs to sit and read with my earplugs in.(Ddog is fine just awkward btw).

Was meant to be taking Dcat to specialist vet for check up appointment as she was in an accident last month where she dislocated her hip and made a mess of her ankle. She’s been on cage rest with lots of pins in her ankle and today’s appointment was to see when they could be removed.

Just as we were leaving the house got a phone call to say that vet is ill.

So I’m working and appointment rearranged for Friday. Cat was pleased to get (delayed) breakfast

I'm about to wake toddler DD up from her nap. She just turned 2 and tantrums about everything. Wants to watch in the night garden constantly but I don't let her so she throws a tantrum every time she asks and I say no (sometimes every 5 minutes all day). We did the park this morning, not sure what to do this afternoon that won't cost much/anything. Might just put her in her wellies and coat and spend the afternoon in the garden.

My elderly cat is.

He has the spare room all to himself so enjoyed a long lie in curled up on the bed next to the radiator. He then got up and did some stretching and shouting, he likes to exercise his vocal chords.

He came downstairs to find a chunk of salmon in his bowl as I couldn’t stomach it last night.

He then got the lid to lick from a cream pot.

He made his way to the garden and set up on his bench to soak up the sun. He’ll probably come in for teatime and then settle down for the evening on his sofa (we’re relegated to the chairs) before heading up to bed for another 14 hour nap.

(I’m having a shit day though).

Mines not too bad.
It’s half term here and I am off work for a couple of days. Dd1 is out in town with friends and dd2 is watching some Christmas movie upstairs with her friend. I’m just having a coffee then I plan on blitzing the kitchen (love a good clear out).
Weathers not too bad so will take the dog out later, but that’s about as far as I’m going.
Ds and his girlfriend are round tonight so going to get a takeaway and watch a movie.
Pretty ok day (if all goes to plan!)

At work today, ICU, mental busy but shift is going quick and I’ve had a pretty good day so far. Off tomorrow and getting my hair cut so looking forward to that, it’s driving me nuts just now

Good so far. Three loads of laundry on the line drying in the sunshine and breeze. Shopping and piano practice done for today. Just need to do the washing up, attempt to fix my sister's latest doll (don't ask), bring in the laundry again and make the bed. I should do some vacuuming too.

I’m googling plumbers because our central heating is partially broken, which is lovely. I’m sure that will be easy and inexpensive. Hmm

DS is watching cartoons and I really should be playing with him or doing some constructive wholesome preschool activities enjoying this last year before he starts school. I’m not feeling it. Hmm

Basically I cba with today.

Solidarity @cheesenpickles waves

Commiserations all round. Sorry to hear so many of us not having a great day. Yesterday was good and the sun was out and I was happy and today is just a pit of despair with weather to match my mood.

Here's hoping tomorrow is better for all.

Holed up with three week old who didn't sleep last night and I truly am sleeping when the baby sleeps right now.

So run down from balancing everything, including a distance learning course final assignment due on Sunday, 3 year old DS and generally everything that my mouth is covered in ulcers and I have three styes in my eye. Charming.

Feeding newborn DS right now and browsing Netflix.

I'm south of Barcelona and recovering from the storms last night! I have some cracking videos.
Have walked the dog twice and been to the pool, now just changing to go to work. Hopefully not walking home in near-constant lightning and sheets of rain tonight Confused

Hugs for everyone having a shit day BrewCake

@BillyAndTheSillies GO YOU. Final assignment plus a toddler PLUS a baby?! You are smashing it, even if you don't feel like it today.

So far removed from my self inflicted study situation. My day has been shit. I should be studying for a vv important exam but instead I've procrastinated and avoided it all day. So now I'm feeling more shit! Why do I do it to myself?!

I've just had 31 injections in my face and head, but surprisingly it wasn't too bad and I've got a triple choc muffin for after tea as a consolation.
