Mine is eat tuna sandwiches when I'm home alone.
For more than a day.
Which is basically never 😂.
DH hates fish so I don't eat it 3 or 4 times a week anymore. Obviously I love him more than tuna so I'll cope.
But I miss tuna baked, tuna toasties...

What's your compromise?

Spending a week in Tenerife. DH is under it at the moment with elderly relatives etc. He has inherited an apartment I Los Cristianos. I find the place tacky, bland, dull and a host of other complaints. It isnt my first choice. Ever. But he is in desperate need of a break and we r spending time together as a family that is sorely missing.
I sound like a spoilt madam but I really dont enjoy being here and I dont think I am alone in that.

Like walking in the rain and the snow..

Oh ..it's not a sing along

Ok

This week I have - filed his corns (they are on his heels so can't reach) and tonight diagnosed a 'patch' on his leg as ringworm, marched him to chemist and pharmacist has agreed. Then when we got home I had to check him all over ...and put the cream on his patches he couldn't see.

Now that is love

@lolaflores I know what you mean, I don't think you sound spoilt, you sound absolutely human.

I do wear gloves 🤢 he seems to be falling apart at the moment...he is a tough sort normally but recently has been getting stuff. I think his immune system has taken a bashing - he had a quinsy a few months ago and that's set him back. Poor old bugger. I am an ex nurse so I am used to sorting folk out..

Pop the spots on his back 🤢
For some reason when he is feeling run down his back gets spotty and they're the painful type, so even though I hate it, I do it for his comfort.

I freeze to death most nights as he insists on having the bedroom window wide open....
I go to football matches with him in the cold, wet and wind and pretend to enjoy it.
I exfoliate his feet and massage them 2/3 times a week (I HATE feet and wouldn’t go near anyone else’s)

There are probably a million other things I do for him that I don’t like doing and wouldn’t do for anyone else....but....he does just as much for me 😄

I will admit when I read the thread title I immediately thought push a small child out a window.

Please tell me I'm not the only one.

I work with my DP from home, he is my saviour at the moment. I've really hurt my back and he has taken over everything work wise and household wise as I can't do it and just need to rest. He still finds time to help his dad and brother on projects and play football which he loves.

He is exhausted but is never to tired to get me a drink or something to eat if I can't get up. I also had an allergic reaction to a medication I'm on so he rubs cream into my sores, scabs and blisters to help, 3 times a day. Gives me confidence if we have children one day!
