Thought this might be an interesting thread! Add what you've eaten too, might give us some ideas as well and might help us realise how unhealthy we are 😏
3x small slices sourdough bread with butter and jam
Morning roll, butter, cheese, jam
Glass of diet coke
Tea with milk
Fibre One chocolate cake bar
Creamy salmon pasta
Tea with milk
Tunnocks tea cake

I'm on a diet:
Lunch - salad from the salad bar at work (couscous, red pepper, chick peas, cauliflower, courgette, a few other bits)
Dinner spaghetti bolognese - not too much pasta
A couple of squares of chocolate.
I haven't eaten breakfast since about 1977.
I'm also on diet atm:
10am cereal bar or fat free yoghurt
7pm dinner - usually slow cooked stew or casserole with beans/pulses and served with veg.
Three days a week I treat myself to 'pudding' usually a yoghurt with frozen fruit/a biscuit or weight watchers brownie square thing.
Oh forgot drinks! Water all day and one glass squash in the evening.
2 scrambled eggs
Greek yog and low sugar apple compote
Lots of coffee
Good wedge of double cream brie
A few prunes
Large Starbucks pike Place
Baked sweet potato
Dinner is chicken pasta pesto probably
vegetable deficiency, OP.
Today I walked 10 miles & cycled 1.5 miles.
Lots of tea/herbal infusions with FF milk.
porridge with peaches & peanut butter
About 30 fat chips
bowl of cooked veg, pasata, potatoes, a sausage
banana, apple, chocolate brazil nuts.
Not saying it was amazeballs but I probably got 7-8 servings of F+Veg.
First thing - Cup of decaf tea
Tea break at work - High protein yogurt and a nectarine, decaf tea
Lunch - Lentil chilli with rice, chocolate fudge (from tin of roses)
Mid afternoon- Cup of decaf tea
Dinner - Tuna pasta
About 1.5-2 litres of water throughout the day
I track everything I eat on my fitness pal and have lost 3.5 stone over the last year. My eating habits have changed massively over that time, I’d definitely recommend it
Yep defo a veg deficiency! Terrible day!
Normally have salad with my lunch, and veg with tea but obviously not today! Salmon pasta did have peas in tho so they're green!!!!
Plain yoghurt, oats & frozen raspberry , large cup of milky coffee
Apple & some biscuits, cup of milky coffee
Leak & potato soup
Potato Bake with peppers courgette and feta cheese - all nicely mixed with red pesto.
Other drinks water and herbal tea while relaxing in MN!
Never eat breakfast.
Small lunch box of beef madras and rice for lunch.
Spag Bol for dinner.
And three lattes.
I exercise a fair bit so I need the carbs.
Shredded wheat, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, prunes, soya milk
Sandwiches and crisps (mixed platter at a course)
Hot choc and millionaires shortbread - special treat, omg was SO delish!
Chicken chargrill, rice, peas, sweetcorn, tomato.
Dcaf tea first thing
Banana and satsuma mid morning
Homemade veg souo and salad (agonozing fight with myself over finishing the dc's garlic bread and, WON😁). Quiche and yet more salad for dinner. Various fruits and water in between. God I'm bored of being on a diet... Day 1!
Overnight oats for breakfast (frozen cherries and raspberries, skyr cherry low fat yog and oats).
Sugar free grape fanta (repulsive),
half a tuna melt pannini,
a goodly portion of chips and a jam donut.
Decaf coffee with sk milk.
handful black grapes.
Have walked over 11k steps today.
and to rate yours there's a lot of white (presumably) carbs and sugar and not much fresh fruit and veg. But some days are just like that, I know!
Breakfast: coffee and porridge made with skimmed milk and a squirt of honey
Mid morning no food, drinks: coffee and a small bottle of water
Lunch: boots meal deal- duck wrap, shapes chip sticks and diet coke
Dinner: beetroot falafel, new potatoes and sweet potato cous cous
3 cups of tea
Subway 6 inch meat feast with all the veg bar gurkins and jalapenos
Doritos (small bag)
Home made sweet and sour with veggies, brown rice and quorn chicken
Then a waffle .....topped with a 1/3 of vienetta and a splodge of chocolate sauce - thanks mum !
Not had a bad day!
B- Avocado on sourdough and coffee
L -lentil bean and barley soup (m and s one)
D - chicken thighs with seasoning and lots of peppers,onions,courgettes, tomatoes, with swede and carrot mash
Dessert was rice pudding to have while watching bake off
Had a few italian biscuits with tea for a snack and some starburst for sugar kick!
It's DD1's birthday today, so several anomalies:
First thing: Tea
Breakfast: McDonalds sausage and egg McMuffin. Usually have overnight oats.
Morning briefing: Tea
Mid afternoon break: Tea and homemade cake
Lunch: School dinner: x2 veggie wraps with potato wedges and sweetcorn. Jelly for pudding. Another cup of tea.
Dinner: Nandos. 4 boneless chicken thighs with spicy rice, mash and garlic bread. Strawberry and white chocolate cheesecake with cream and a large glass of white wine.
I drunk 1 litre water today - not good enough, I usually drink 2.
Such an interesting thread. I did a 24hour fast today (although actually only managed 21 hours) so have only eaten this evening.
Mixed berries, yoghurt with chia seeds, ground flaxseed and sunflower seeds.
Homemade lentil soup (onion, lentils, stock, potato, carrot and ham).
Let's see what tomorrow brings...
Oh, my diet is a shit show. Forget five portions of fruit and veg a day - things are going unusually well if I manage five a week.
Today has been pretty typical: five cups of coffee with soya milk and one sugar each; three cups of black early grey tea; a 350g pack of fresh beetroot; four rice cakes; about 200g of cold chicken; a sugar-free Monster energy drink; I’ll probably have a very large glass of wine in a bit, and maybe a scoop of peanut butter.
It’s been this way for getting on for a decade. By any objective measure, I know I should be an absolute health wreck. Except I’m not. I feel awesome. I’m never ill. I run between 5km - 10km most days on my lunch break, double that at the weekends. I run ultramarathons. Complete triathlons. I lift weights. I box. I’m really good at all of it. And my bloodwork and medical checks come back as close to perfect health as possible. I think I’m just incredibly lucky and possibly living on borrowed time but have no incentive or motivation to change diet because of it not appearing to have any impact.
No proper exercise today but did walk the dog for an hour and a half.
Lunch was egg salad.
Snack of some blue cheese & oaty biscuit.
Too much fizzy wine as DH was late home & I was lonely
Then squirrel pasta. Yummy but no veg.
2 boiled eggs and a toasted pitta
Hula hoop puffs
Tomato soup and another pitta
Ready meal cottage pie
Cheese and onion french fries
4 large pickled onions
A fudge bar
And that's me on a diet 😂
Did your roll have all those things on it? Cheese and jam together?!!

Literally none of my 5 a day.
(Had major surgery 2 weeks ago and appetite hasn’t returned yet)
Hello.Im so sorry to annoy you's all im looking at your replies and hoping someone can help.I have'nt been eating to good for a while and i think its my tablets,can anyone suggest something to get me to eat better please.sorry again to annoy u.
