Travel potty?

Been potty training DD. She is fab in the house. We are ready to venture out but her potty is so bulky! It doesn’t fit under her buggy. A few of my friends and people I’ve seen online have travel potties but I balked a bit at £23! Are they worth splashing out on? Mind the pun!

Hi OP, we have the Pottette Plus which has been brilliant, can be used as a toilet seat when there is a toilet or as a potty using the bags, very handy when out on country walks/long car journeys

I'm sure I got mine for £15ish. And you can use bin liners and sanitary towels stuck in for replacement bags. The cheap thick towels.

DD is nearly 5 and at first it seemed like we weren't going to get use out of it but as the years have gone on its been handy to keep in the car. I think it's definitely worth it for a DD, as they can't just pee in a bush if they need to.

I never needed one for my two and I can't see a situation where it would be socially acceptable to use one . I don't want to see someone's toddler doing the toilet when I'm out and about, thanks.

If you kept it in the car for dire emergencies , fine, but carting it about under the buggy in case you child need to pee if they can't wait a few minutes bto get to a toilet they're not ready to toilet train. Part of the training is learning they can't just go anywhere the second they need.
