Oh ffs Ikea

Since when have Ikea curtains been 250cm long??! They’ve always been 300cm.

I’ve managed to have bought a load of curtains that are hanging about halfway up the window frames like too short trousers.

And I’ve run out of ideas of places to get curtains from. Surely high ceiling Victorian style houses are not that uncommon? Why doesn’t anywhere sell long drop curtains anymore?! Ikea used to be my affordable go to for curtains.

What about adding a contrasting trim to the bottom of them?

I do feel your frustration though, you shouldn't have to add to what should already be made properly.

Try Twiss, they tell you how to measure your curtains and will make you reasonably priced made-to-measure. I have some quite awkward non-standard windows and they have managed to make perfect curtains each time.

Sorry Tuiss, not twiss.

Can you borrow a sewing machine and make them yourself? That is what a male friend of mine did, borrowed my machine, asked how to sew and made some really well made curtains! (Yes, I was a tad envious at how easily he did it)

Not curtains but I feel your pain - my go to shop for jeans has changed their design so they're now far too clingy around the calves (more like jeggings than straight cut jeans).

So instead of just picking up the size/length that's fit so well for the past few years I've had to bugger about trying on new ones. And they're still not quite right. Sad Angry

They changed about a year ago. I was raging as the longer ones meant I had enough material at the ends to make a few cushions.
