Hi everyone,

Awhile ago there was a thread going where we wrote what our toddlers had eaten each day and it was great seeing how/what others were eating. It was really helpful.

I just wondered if anyone fancied starting it up again.

DS 22m
Breakfast - 1 1/2 pancakes made from banana egg and oats. 4 chunks of melon
Snack - 2/3rds of a satsuma
Lunch - pork loin steak, carrots, parsnips, peas. 3 bites of boiled potato with butter
Snack - was on a playdate so some scrambled egg as we arrived while they were eating lunch. 2 strawberries 2x crackers and couple pieces of pineapple.
Tea - couple chunks of chicken, slice of pepper and probably half a mouthful of egg noodles. 4 chunks of melon.

I wish my toddler ate. Today she's had 2 dried apricots, half a yogurt, a mouthful of pot noodle which she stole from me another yogurt and a quarter piece of toast. I fear she doesn't eat enough are my fears right?

Don’t worry. The ‘we shared a mung bean - we’d both be stuffed if we had a whole one each’ crew will be along in a minute.

We’re in holiday so today my toddler ate

2 choc chip cookies
A pain au chocolate
A ham and cheese toasted sandwich
Half a packet of Cheeto crisps
A banana
6 strawberries
A small pot of strawberry ice cream

We haven’t had dinner yet but will probably have some form of tomato pasta!

Breakfast: half a bagel with cream cheese and some cherry tomatoes
Lunch and two snacks at nursery but I have no idea what.
Snack at home after nursery- a yogurt pouch and some crackers
Dinner - salmon, potato wedges, peas and then some berries for pudding, may have another yogurt before bed.

He’s rarely not hungry!

Thanks for joining in, it's great to see what others eat

@loutyre as long as you keep offering and she has energy she might be more interested soon. I think they say look at what they eat in a week not just a day so maybe you can use this thread to record what she has

This may be a helpful thread for me. I have a 16 month old who is ridiculously fussy and I'm tearing my hair out with it now.

He gets fussier by the week. There's hardly anything he will eat. He wants to live on just toast and pizza. Sad

2.5 year old son is a gannet. Today he's had:

Breakfast - one slice of toast with peanut butter
Snack: a whole punnet of strawberries bar the 4/5 large ones I scoffed
Lunch: 2 egg omelette with cheese and onion, another slice of toast and peanut butter because he was still hungry plus a large pear
Snack: one of those toddler "natural" cereal bar things
Dinner: Aldi toddler meal because we're having something too spicy. He had two of the small petit filous fromage frais for pudding

Plus two generous cups of whole milk.

I think he eats quite a bit. This is probably a bit less than average. He's 50th centile height and weight but like the Tasmanian devil, never sits still and he walks everywhere at his insistence.

@meepmoop Thankyou I struggle to find anything she will eat that is substantial so I will get loads out of this thread hopefully xx

My DS is 10 months:

Breakfast: crumpet and banana

Lunch : Philadelphia sandwich (we were out so it was the easiest thing to take with us), cucumber, melty puffs and grapes

Tea: spaghetti bolognaise with green beans on the side (Cos he loves them!), fruit smoothie pouch and a yoghurt.

3 year old:-

Breakfast - rice crispies with banana slices
Snack - toast
Lunch - houmous sandwiches (don't ask!)
Snack - yoghurt
Tea - about three bites of chicken, loads of pasta, sweetcorn and peas
Pudding - banana then half a gingerbread man.

He’s always been a fussy eater and only in the last six months have I started to chill out about it. I used to find the chats about how much other children eat really stressful - it’s hard to actually realise it, but they really are all different! X

2 year old DD has had

1 weetabix

A banana (well, ate a few mouthfuls, squished the rest up on the floor Angry) and a cup of milk

A chocolate biscuit to keep her quiet while we waited for the car being MOT’d

Totally rejected her lunch of leftover salmon pasta and green beans. Instead had a few cheesy crackers, cheese and an apple.

A Jaffa cake and most of a chocolate tea cake at my DGM’s (despite my protests)

Absolutely inhaled her dinner of chicken curry with mushrooms, courgette and peppers, and rice
