Swears By: Mumsnet Recommends(5 Posts)
Some of you may already receive our Swears By newsletter, which rounds up the products Mumsnetters have been recommending to each other each week. Well, we thought we'd give them a home here, too.
Check out our Swears By page for this month's recommendations for style, beauty, tech and everything in between - then remember to pop back here and tell us what you think.
Did you buy something your fellow Mumsnetters recommended? Did we miss something you've been raving about this week? Or do you have a new life-changing product you just can't wait to share? Make sure you let us know below.
And remember, if you want to be first to know about the next cult product, you can sign up to the newsletter here.
Mumsnet Swears By is free and independent from advertising but if you buy something through our posts, we may get a small share of the sale. You can find out more here.
This week @Mominatrix made a bargain recommendation on the Style and Beauty boards - these Uniqlo Heattech Long-Sleeved Tops, which you can now get your hands on for £9.90 (were £12.90)
@Mominatrix praises them for being "thin, warming, and lightweight" - they come in lots of colours and styles, too. Pop one on under your jumper, and it's guaranteed to keep you toasty all winter long.
Make sure you check out this month's Swears By page for the rest of this week's stellar recommendations.
Hello again everyone - and happy Monday!
Those of you who subscribe to our Swears By email will have already seen a link to our Swears By survey, which asks for your thoughts on everything from the pricing of the products we include each week to why you read Swears By in the first place.
But we want to hear from you however you consume our Swears By recommendations - whether you just check into the Swears By thread every now and again or you open the email every single week. So, be sure to let us know your thoughts by filling in the survey here.
Your survey responses will be completely anonymous and will not be associated with your username. You can find our T&Cs here.
Hi everyone - me again!
Seeing as few of the recommendations we included in Swears By last weekend were on offer, we thought it would be a good idea to share them here while the prices are still low:
"They are bloody brilliant - all hail the holy Lumea!"
Philips Lumea Prestige, £318.50 (was £520)
"I’ve just bought the Miele Cat&Dog as I have a fluffy cat. It’s good, especially using the turbo head."
Miele Complete C3 Cat&Dog, £216.17 (was £290)
"I have this coat in black, and honestly I was warm enough to walk about during the Beast from the East when it was -10. And it's cheap."
SoulCal Two Zip Bubble Jacket, from £17 (was £65)

Hello, I discovered Delphis Eco cleaning products range which is totally organic and cleans as well as the strongest chemical cleaner. Apparently Buckingham Palace are using it to clean. It’s now on Amazon but I bought it from a site called Viking. The bottles are quite large. It cleans really well too. I can’ even stand chemical smells in cleaning products anymore and I like the fact they are the only company to use 100% recyclable bottles. I am a bit phobic now about chemicals in products now that we are learning that even products like Johnson’s talcum powder have law suits for causing breast cancer.
