Wow. So we move to te next stage.

FrancesFryer Tue 15-Jan-19 19:48:55

The big question is, will labour all for a vote of no confidence in the government and try to trigger a general election

FrancesFryer Tue 15-Jan-19 19:49:06

Ok he just has

ScreamingValenta Tue 15-Jan-19 19:49:55

Corbyn was quick off the mark there!

FrancesFryer Tue 15-Jan-19 19:50:18

The EU has said it will delay best until July to give us time to sort ourselves out

But we have to ask

FrancesFryer Tue 15-Jan-19 19:50:41

Very quick

CormoranStrike Tue 15-Jan-19 19:51:42

He had to be quick

LookImAHooman Tue 15-Jan-19 19:52:03

Labour’s move isn’t a surprise, though. Exactly what they said they’d do.

FrancesFryer Tue 15-Jan-19 19:53:41

It will be interesting to see the result of that vote. Thatcher won a vote of no confidence when She was in opposition by 1 vote

Ali1cedowntherabbithole Tue 15-Jan-19 19:53:52

I thought TM was almost begging JC to call the no conf vote.

I think she's done.

Bookridden Tue 15-Jan-19 19:54:33

But can Corbyn win the vote tomorrow? DUP won't want a Labour government so will vote with the Tories, so they will win won't they? And then what?

bigchris Tue 15-Jan-19 19:54:36

Is the no confidence vote tomorrow?

KittyLane1 Tue 15-Jan-19 19:55:08

Corbyn is a snake

PinkGin24 Tue 15-Jan-19 19:55:36

Fingers crossed for No Deal now...

FrancesFryer Tue 15-Jan-19 19:55:43

Yes i can't see many/any conservative MP's voting against

Ali1cedowntherabbithole Tue 15-Jan-19 19:55:55

I can see some Tories voting against though if they see an opportunity.

bigchris Tue 15-Jan-19 19:56:54

Voting against a no confidence vote ?

Joinourclub Tue 15-Jan-19 19:58:36

I can’t see Corbyn winning

CormoranStrike Tue 15-Jan-19 19:59:03

Please please please no confidence, no deal and remain.

Ali1cedowntherabbithole Tue 15-Jan-19 19:59:03

smile no sorry - I meant voting for the NC motion. Against the gov

FrancesFryer Tue 15-Jan-19 20:00:50

They can afford for 5 tories to vote against.
That's allowing for the fact that sinn féin have 7 seats and always abstain

VenusStarr Tue 15-Jan-19 20:03:38

If TM has to resign tomorrow, how soon will there be a general election? Will we have no prime minister? I'm ashamed to say I don't know who the deputy PM is??

If TM wins tomorrow does that mean we're leaving with a no deal?

marvellousnightforamooncup Tue 15-Jan-19 20:04:13

So Corbyn wants to trigger no confidence and a GE which I can't see him winning. More time wasting and bickering and uncertainty. I wish Kier Starmer was Labour leader going into a GE.

FrancesFryer Tue 15-Jan-19 20:07:05

If May resigns it won't trigger a general election, just a leadership contest

BayandBlonde Tue 15-Jan-19 20:10:56

We don't have a deputy, the last one was Nick Clegg.

I had to google it because I too didn't know who our deputy was.

We didn't know because there isn't one smile
